Look at it this way- Murder is a 3drop, but an instant. Tegumi's Scorn is a 2drop, but a Sorcery.
Also the dress is overpowered only when equipped to Tegumi. ITS BALANCED I SWEAR.

Lol true. And besides, there are better two mana indiscriminate creature destroy like Dreadbore and Terminate.

I'd already decided I'm going with Orzhov, this beauty sealed the deal.
I also hope the Cleric token she produces is an actual card, I love collecting Tokens.
Especially ones that are more than just a normal boring creature.

I am so gonna put this card in my binder labeled with "Awesome art"
But I would never use this card (I think. That's a lot of mana for that effect.

Its the same cost as it is to summon her. So logically, if you can summon her, you can bring her back from the dead.

"Never" is a strong word. It looks really good still. You still get a 5/5 flier for 6 if nothing else. You're basically recasting it from your graveyard, and besides, you're playing black white with this card. Just Unburial Rites it or something if you'd rather keep your 1/1 token or reanimate for cheaper.

Antw0n: Haha, I like collecting tokens too. It's just mostly for convenience, so I always remember what creature it is.

Me and my friend are DEFINITELY going Dimir for first prerelease day. We're torn though on what to go next, though. He's thinking either Orzhov or Boros, I'm thinking Orzhov or Simic.

Also, new Gideon looks pretty slick. His first planeswalker did lots of work for me, so I do like his new one. Some great art on that guy, too.

After looking at those promos, I really want to get the Fathom Mage for the art. I would get the Dimir and the Boros since those are the colors of choice for the guilds I would play with.



I can see good potential in Fathom Mage too. Using her and stuff from Golgari, like the Slitherheads, or using stuff like Blessing of the Nature or Increasing Savagery, to draw cards, and using the new Merfolk card to give her more counters or distribute them for bigger creatures or more chances to draw cards.

I can also see using Strangeroot Geist and taking off counters from him to keep him living and re-use him more for more Undying.

I feel almost a bit more excited to play Simic than Boros, which Boros was my first set of cards I played when I first got into MtG, due to the new Evolve ability.

It's why I was excited for Simic before any spoilers. I've been wanting to build Blue-Green for Standard, but didnt have enough good tools. It seems Simic is bringing plenty of those.

This card (not yet officially revealed) was a hidden easter egg at the end of a short Gatecrash story on the main site.

Nikya leaned closer. "I have been wielding the magic of the Gruul longer than you have been alive, Kal. What was that? Where did you learn such a spell."

"I don't know what that was," Kal replied. "I think I learned it from watching the Izzet."

Then Durri leaned in, smiling. "You may have learned it from the Izzet, Kal, but look around." She made a sweeping gesture. Kal could see the smoking corpses of Rakdos strewn about like twisted puppets. "It sure feels like Gruul to me."
...and if you clicked on 'feels like Gruul', this appeared.

They have little secrets in all their articles to reveal the new cards if they don't just explicitly spoil it. I kinda like how they made you work for revealing Lazav in the article for him, going through links all over the page.

Consuming Aberration and the Lazav, Dimir Mastermind is really compelling me to make a blue black mill control deck.

UB does have better mill elements than mono-blue does, due to having access Glimpse the Unthinkable and Mind Funeral. Also, the old Dimir Guildleader, Szadek, only dealt "deck damage", which was fun, the all-star in my friend's casual mill deck.

There was also Nemesis of Reason, which is awesome in creature based mill.

EDIT: Ohh... Oh my god... I just saw a beautiful card for my Modern burn deck.. Oh man...

Also, the new Planeswalker was officially spoiled... Except some asshole outside of WOTC spoiled that several months too early, so I already knew about it :/
