Man, I at least wish the Alms Beast was monowhite. It seems like the perfect card for a Pheldagriff deck if that were true.
Ah, man. Me and my buddy Gideon, his other Planeswalker card was the first I've ever owned. I traded him some time after I gave my White Weenie deck to my younger brother, but he did so much work for me. Just was so good. New Gideon I think I'll be good friends with, too. I really hope to open that guy.
Haha, I see an Angel for Kaalia...
Biovisionary... the moment we saw that spoiled last night, my friend and I spent several hours arguing what'd be the best way to abuse that guy. He talked about making an all Clone-effects deck, I suggested Pack Hunt, etc.
EDIT: Today's Sealed pool looked pretty good for a slightly longer game style Rakdos deck. I put an Izzet Keyrune in too as a small splash since I decided to run a Pursuit of Flight, too. Two mythics in the pool, too which was sweet: a Armada Wurm and a Rakdos Return. RB seemed stronger than GW though, so that's why I took that direction.
The list I made:

Consuming Aberration and the Lazav, Dimir Mastermind is really compelling me to make a blue black mill control deck. UB does have better mill elements than mono-blue does, due to having access Glimpse the Unthinkable and Mind Funeral. Also, the old Dimir Guildleader, Szadek, only dealt "deck damage", which was fun, the all-star in my friend's casual mill deck.
There was also Nemesis of Reason, which is awesome in creature based mill.
EDIT: Ohh... Oh my god... I just saw a beautiful card for my Modern burn deck.. Oh man...

Also, the new Planeswalker was officially spoiled... Except some asshole outside of WOTC spoiled that several months too early, so I already knew about it :/
Built a deck that revolves around B/U mill just because seeing people mill is fun IMO.
Here's the deck list -
Zombie-Mill Deck [60] :
Creatures [17] :
3x Gravecrawlers
3x Undead Alchemist
3x Skinrender
3x Jace's Phantasm
3x Diregraf Captain
2x Dralnu, Lich Lord
Spells [19] :
4x Go For The Throat
3x Thought Scour
3x Mind Funeral
3x Ghoulcaller's Chant
3x Glimpse The Unthinkable
2x Increasing Confusion
1x Keening Stone
Lands [24] :
4x Darkslick Shores
4x Drowned Catacomb

I forget what the card was called, but it was a zombie that made ALL your zombies deal "deck damage" (milling) instead of actual damage. Surprised you don't run that... unless one of those zombies is in fact the milling one and I'm mistaken.

It's in there. Undead Alchemist
Also, I'M VERY STOKED!
MY SKYKNIGHT LEGIONNARIES IS BACK IN STANDARD!!!
The art on it is meh since I still do like the art for it from the original Ravinica Set, but I still love this card greatly. Help me win countless modern games with my Human/Boros deck.
I used to run a lot of them. 2/2 flying, haste that is a human for 3 cost? Champion is a very happy man.

Yeah, that's a great card. It's even a common, which is sweet. The human decks in standard are gonna LOVE boros.
Geez, Gatecrash is awesome. So intense, man, I just cannot goddamn wait for the set to come out. I'm not sure I was ever this excited before.

Yeah, that new planeswalker was pretty badass. He also was prematurely spoiled, so I already knew about him. I'm liking Dimir's guildmage, too.
And I do love me fancy counterspells. Brian-David Marshall's article was cool, being a big Simic user. Very appropriate that he would be the one to spoil a cool Simic card.
EDIT: Man, building Standard decks is hard. I tried RUG Imposter (basically taking inspiration from RUG Delver in Modern), but it was a little inconsistent. I'm building a GRUB control list right now, but debating on just going Grixis. I really want Gatecrash to come, if nothing else, just so there's more options for me, without needing to go tri or quad color.

Wait, so with High Priest of Penance, if I block with him I get to destroy one nonland permanent? As long as he is dealt damage?

Very awkward draft tonight. Everyone went red, except one guy, and there was tons of green. Only two people in the end had base green decks. I myself had a Grixis deck, having never found a direction. I couldn't decide to fully commit to either Izzet or Rakdos. I did, however, have two Rix-Maadi guildmages, which was pretty sweet.

You should have went Izzet. It would definitely spice things up.

I'm interested in the Dimir Guildmage, but at the same time, the only ability I would use on him is his first. I can see someone losing 7 life from milling 7 from a simple Mind Sculpt.
The Unblockable Simic card will definitely go into my Simic Deck I'm trying to create when spoilers are coming out. Seems like I'm going to splash a bit of Golgari in it too for the Scavenge abilities for Simic.
IMO though, that counter card is a bit too costly for what it's worth, I would at least take off one mana cost from it, and then I can see it being viable. Still though, I can still see it now... "I play Sphinx Revelation for 12. NOPE! Counter and I get a 15/15 Slime. My turn?"

Rix-Maadi guildmage, though, defintiely is good in Rakdos, and like I said, red was very dried up. There were just residual black and blue cards coming, both sides were playable, and I didn't have enough on either side to stick with a guild.
I also had drafted 4 guildgates, two from each guild, which was helpful in fixing my mana.
@saka: Yeah, that guildmage looks pretty sweet. Him with Jace lets you 10 a person. Pretty crazy. I think mill will be a viable strategy finally in Standard in competitive settings.

Did anyone buy the Holiday Gift Box for RtR? I did, and I really like it so far. Such a huge capacity for holding cards (up to 2000 IIRC) and the alt Dread Mangler art is awesome.

My friend got one, and he uses it for his cube.
Any time after an event at the shop we go to, he just pulls out the box and lets his friends use it to cube draft or something it they want to.
As much as I'd like a box, I don't really need one, since the cheap cardboard ones I have are still doing their job well.
EDIT:
Hmm, today's M13 Draft simulator seemed pretty amazing for Green-Black. A bunch of bomb-rares in Predatory Rampage, Nefarox, and Xathrid Gorgon, and Thragtusk (which was, in fact, in the first pack).

Haha, man... They reprinted Pongify. Rapid Hybridization has the exact same effect, but it became an Ape instead (I think was the creature type.

I can see Rapid Hybridization really being used in any Blue Deck. Can make any one of your small blue creatures stronger, or to destroy a stronger creature on your opponents side and make it weaker.

It's removal for one mana. That's sweet. And there's plenty of ways to bounce the token to utterly negate the minor upside it gives the opponent.
