I miss blue.
Don't get me wrong, blue is still a good color, but not as good as it used to be. Counterspell, Mana Leak, Show and Tell... To me they put a damper on Blue in the Standard Format as of right now.

Good thing Blue's not like this anymore then. The reason why I love magic is because of the advantages and limitations of certain colors. Like how Red is suppose to be fast but just can't deal with enchantments (well, you can Apocalypse that enchantment)
But I still find Blue to be a very strong color in standard but only if you add another color.

Have a feeling it's gonna get stronger. Dimir and Simic will make sure of that, hopefully. There is a Pongify effect, and I'm really hoping the Cipher cards will be playable enough to make splashes in Constructed.

Right now, no color really can stand alone, there just isn't enough cards. I mean, monored and monogreen seem viable right now, but they become much better when they splash an allied color.
EDIT:
I don't know about you guys, but I love any card that says "draw cards". I like Divination, at least in Limited, and I love the card Explore.
They got stapled together! =D

I'm just curious, what do you guys think is the best way to shuffle a deck?
Rifle, rifle, pile, side. That's how I do it.
Unless I'm in the middle of a game, then just rifle, rifle, side so my opponent doesnt wait too long.
If you're talking about keeping your cards in good shape, probably just carefully side shuffle and pile shuffle.
And don't just pile shuffle. If you only pile shuffle, your deck isn't well shuffled, you should do it different ways. It does get rid of big clumps though, if you notice a bunch of the same card or lands grouped together. Just today, for example, I had all 4 of my Vines of Vastwood right next to each other in my Infect deck.

I'm reading techniques on how to use Sensei's Divining Top and I saw this
"One important Top technique was nicknamed “stack tricks” by another one of my playtest partners, Adam Kugler. If you're lucky enough to know that you want the top card of your library (and we'll definitely be getting to that!) in your hand and you don't want the Top for a little bit, using the stack can accomplish this for you. First, activate the one mana reordering ability of the Top, and then in response activate the card drawing ability on the Top. When both of the abilities resolve, you'll draw a card and put the Top on top of your library, and then the second ability will resolve and you can take the Top off the top of your library and place it farther in. (Is it just me, or do you think that Rosewater and company knew people would be saying “Put Top on top?”)"
I'm really confused. Does that mean I draw additional card and get the SDT back?

Nope.
So you activate the {1} ability, to rearrange the top 3 cards of your library. In response to that ability (it can be responded to, the effect will still resolve though unless there is a Stifle effect), you use the Top's tap ability, putting that ability on that stack on top of it. When they resolve, you'll then draw a card, put the Top on top, then be able to rearrange the top 3 in any order.
So no.
Btw gurall, how often would you use this little trick of the Top? I've never done it, though the only use I've ever gotten out of my Top is in EDH, doing work to set up miracles, or just card selection.

Instead if the Chromatics, I'd think to use more one-mana cantrips, like Sleight of Hand, Preordain, Ponder, and the like (though, if you want it to be Modern-legal, Preordain and Ponder are banned).
EDIT: Now that I think of it, I do like the idea of Chromatics, since you can sacrifice them whenever you need to draw a card. It doesn't boost storm though, which was my original problem with it.
The list I run has less of the painlands and shocklands because you want the mana as quick as possible and as soon as possible, so you'll want them untapped, and you pay a lot of life needing to get those duals.
Also, for sideboarding, I'd put in a set of Lightning Bolts, so you can deal with creature based decks, Empty the Warrens as a backup plan, it also can earn you a turn 3 kill if you have an opening hand of rituals and that card. Pyromancer's Ascension can help you if you can go longer with a plan (it's something I use mainboard). Goblin Electromancer is nice to use, he can be equivalent to a mana guy (Use that mainboard in mine, too). Probably some artifact hate like Shatterstorm.
I can post my list if you want to compare. I should mention though that mine is an exact copy paste of StarCityGames' Storm List from the Pro Tour.

Mine is modern-legal, so no Ponders or Preordains, but I was thinking about it if I wanted to run it Legacy. I also think the enchantment Pyromancer's Swath, is better than Ascension.
*EDIT*
The Chromatics are there just to replace Ponder and Preordain.
I think Into the Roil or something like Cyclonic Rift to go against decks that uses Rest in Peace or Leyline that counters the deck. Into the Roil's kicker cost is a bit expensive though, and so is the Overload cost on Rift.

Ascension also affects your rituals and cantrips, which is sometimes exactly what you need. But Swath does help burn things faster.
I think a bounce effect that'd be good is Echoing Truth. It's "with the same name" clause may not always be relevant, but when it is, you're really happy. I suggest this because you may not need to spend a bunch of mana to bounce-wipe their entire board, just the one thing you really want gone. And every copy of it they have out.
EDIT: Sleight of Hand and Desperate Ravings could do the trick in replacing POnder + Preordain. They won't do as well, but they get the job done. The discard portion of Ravings could also help during a big Past in Flames, and would be great if you had Ascension.

You've got the Oracle wording wrong in one part. "on your side of the field" should be "each Goblin you control". The Goblins were exiled, so they weren't sacrificed. And the colorless mana goes before the colored mana, and there should be a comma in between the mana cost of the ability and the Tap symbol.
As you can see, I'm a little concerned with the little details.
Electromancer I think is better in Storm since you want to reduce mana costs in all you spells, making your pyretics turn into red Dark Rituals. Electromancer also itself costs less, which is what you want. It can enable the deck to go off as early as turn 3.

really i thought gutter snipe would be a better choice. i mean its summoned by red mana so the rituals feed into it as well as long as in the combo you put it down before you storm then it turns the grape shots into lightning bolts which is alot easier to reach lethal with

The limiting factor is mana. If you can't cast all your spells, it won't matter. Electromancer essentially gives you more mana to work with, which is what you need to go off. The opponent should be dead the turn the combo goes off anyways, so adding damage shouldn't make much of a difference because what you'll be doing is jacking up the storm count high. Electromancer assists you in doing that, Guttersnipe does not.
Besides, Pyromancer's Swath kind of accomplishes the same thing, and it's not a creature, so less things kill it. In case I did need it.
EDIT: I can see why it's attractive though. It makes all your spells into shocks.

idk ive never play tested either of them but jeez pyromancers swath would scare me to use because if he did anything to interupt the combo id be screwed

Swath is in the sideboard for mine. Never really found a reason to use it though. I cast a bunch of spells, and they die. If I needed to kill things, I brought in Lightning Bolts.
