I waas bored so i made this what do you guys think :D
i just realised i made a mistake whatever i hope theres no legendary goblin wizards already xD
Oh and to the storm deck guy consider using pyretic ritual along with the other 2 and running past in flames also gutter snipe might be a good idea or maybe goblin electromancer but probably gutter snipe
You've got the Oracle wording wrong in one part. "on your side of the field" should be "each Goblin you control". The Goblins were exiled, so they weren't sacrificed. And the colorless mana goes before the colored mana, and there should be a comma in between the mana cost of the ability and the Tap symbol.
As you can see, I'm a little concerned with the little details.
Electromancer I think is better in Storm since you want to reduce mana costs in all you spells, making your pyretics turn into red Dark Rituals. Electromancer also itself costs less, which is what you want. It can enable the deck to go off as early as turn 3.
really i thought gutter snipe would be a better choice. i mean its summoned by red mana so the rituals feed into it as well as long as in the combo you put it down before you storm then it turns the grape shots into lightning bolts which is alot easier to reach lethal with
The limiting factor is mana. If you can't cast all your spells, it won't matter. Electromancer essentially gives you more mana to work with, which is what you need to go off. The opponent should be dead the turn the combo goes off anyways, so adding damage shouldn't make much of a difference because you'll be able to jack up the storm count so high.
Besides, Pyromancer's Swath kind of accomplishes the same thing, and it's not a creature, so less things kill it. In case I did need it.
idk ive never play tested either of them but jeez pyromancers swath would scare me to use because if he did anything to interupt the combo id be screwed
Swath is in the sideboard for mine. Never really found a reason to use it though. I cast a bunch of spells, and they die. If I needed to kill things, I brought in Lightning Bolts.
Meh idk id still at least give guttersnipe a play test in the deck at least. Well if your gonna compete with it at all i mean it cant hurt at all just testing it out xD

Here's the thing about that. Mine is a copy paste of the one StarCityGame's used at the Pro Tour. I'll bet you they did test it. And in theory, Electromancer still sounds better. Again, mana issues.
I won't lie, I like the Guttersnipe. I tested it in a different deck, and it did well. I also tried it in Standard, hoping it'd pull it's weight in mono red, which it unfortunately didn't.

IMO, the best charm out of the whole RtR set. :D
Also won 4x Hinterland Harbors for a cheap $30 on Ebay. Stoked about Simic.

Haha, you sure are a Boros player. That is pretty sweet, though.
I only just now relized the synergy between the new Simic Guildmage and Undying creatures. You can remove the counter on 'em to reset Undying and draw a card. Seems pretty good.

Hmm... I really want to try BOros but I don't want to play a deck that majority of the people are playing... I think Boros will become the most popular

Uncounterable, instant speed pump can get pretty ridiculous. I'm not liking how it seems the Standard environment is gonna be all about aggro. I like playing control a lot more, as per my favorite deck right now, Grixis, though that's actually more midrangey.
Regardless, where I go to, everyone likes playing slower decks, too. They'd rather play decks they enjoy playing rather than playing the best deck (though some still play aggro since they like it).

Just curious, which card do you guys think is better?False Prophet or Final Judgement?
Final Judgment. You can play around Flash Prophet more easily. Or just exile it to deal with it harmlessly. When you show a Judgement, you're demanding they have the counterpell now.
And there was a land that made your instants and sorceries uncounterable... Need to look that up.

Is it Boseiju, Who Shelters All? But damn does it hurt if you activate it too much.
Yeah, I love Final Judgement because it prevents those stupid Undying and Persist decks. Just a bit expensive

That's why you don't use it if you don't need it. I think it's more for combo decks like Scapeshift-Valukut that have one big spell instead of a bunch of small ones, and they won't need to worry about losing by having that countered.
You could just use targeted exile. There are plenty of ways to snipe things in the graveyard, too. Remember that Undying/Persist creatures are in a graveyard for a long enough time for you to use a Deathrite Shaman, or something.

Damn... Didn't know there was such a card like Mana Drain. I need to replace my Counterspells in my mill deck now.

It's legal in Vintage and Commander. But that is probably the reason why I don't know it. It's banned so no one bothered telling me. I guess I'll just forget about it then.

50 bucks for a manadrain is a fucking steal.
Hell I'd buy them, Vintage is surprisingly fun (if extremely masturbatory)
Played in a modern tournament for the first time (t'was a ptq), I hate the format, it consists of combo, jund and U/W or die...but I want to build Scapeshift because that decks looks like awesome sauce fun.
Or maybe it was because I fucking hated the affinity deck I was playing.

I'm guessing it didn't go so well. What do you think was wrong with your deck?
Yeah, U/W and Jund are major players, apparently... They've proven to be strong decks. I wanted to try RUG Vial Control (aka Eternal Command, due to the "combo" of Eternal Witness and the 4 Cryptic Command).
Me and my friend also wanted to play a Valakut deck, probably Scapeshift. It does seem interesting, and we've been meaning to build it for a while anyways (we still haven't, though we've got Valakut's now).

I was missing several cards (Missing 1 Overseer, 4 Blinkmoth and several sideboard cards), dunno, maybe it's just I'm bad at the deck, but the whole time I felt like I was playing the worst deck in the room, the room was full of jund, U/W and various combo decks, U/W is bar none deplorable, Jund is 50/50, and I race combo, except I never felt confidant I could do just that.
Ultimately, it maybe I played a bad list, it could've been me, I ultimately did not like the experience.
If it says anything I went 0-2, perhaps I could've salvaged something out of it, but I flat wasn't having fun.
Strangely enough, I've had more fun playing standard then legacy. Go figure.

Ouch. I would have thought Affinity was a very strong deck in Modern, though, I suppose there's plenty of hate for it. You did say you were missing cards, which is certainly a factor.
Did you consider using a different deck going into it?
EDIT: Oh, wow, Scapeshift-Valakut is unbelievable. I just destroyed my Storm deck, even when it had one of its fastest draws. I think I love Scapeshift, now.
I'm using a RG version that runs Prismatic Omen, though I'm going to try out the RUG variant that doesn't use it, and takes on a more controlling role.

so recently just entered a standard tournament this weekend with id say roughly 16 people in it with this deck
Roughly 16-20 people in the tournament and i got completely wrecked i probably finished in the middle some where but i still did really badly. I wasnt even planning on playing my gonlin deck since ive worked on it so much and i had just come to the conclusion that its just not even viable so i was entering with red deck wins but i was missing a couple really key cards like strom kirks and some vexings; so the day of the tournament i decided to just enter the goblin deck as it standed at that point.
the point of this is that from getting my face stomped in i realized that goblin was actually viable. so i just came to ask for a few specific suggestions on the goblin deck im making (most of my choices will be decided by the new cards their releasing though and im hopeful since theyve revealed 1 goblin so far)
basically cards im planning on putting in and if you think they are good and or one that you think would be better. or if you think you have a card i should add anyway then feel free to suggest it keep in mind this standard though
1. rangers guile
2. predatory rampage (2nd win condition besides burn at the stake (minor win condition is swarm with goblins))
3. hunger of the howl pack (not entirely sure but from brimstone volley i learned this deck synergizes pretty well with the morbid mechanic)
4. hamletback goliath (probably not)
5. Parrelel lives (still probably not)
EDIT: also revenge of the hunted
and wild beast master

I don't know about Faithless, Slumbering, and Chandra. With monored aggro, you just want their life total being zero as quickly as possible. All cards you use should be a means to deal damage to your opponent. Fervor's cute, but I don't think that's the ideal turn 3 play.
I don't know why you'd add those cards you were thinking about, 'cus 1) most are green, and 2) all are too expensive mana-wise for the format I'd think.
(Wild Beastmaster and Revenge I like, but not in this deck)
I dunno, more traditional Monored seems stronger.
Meanwhile, my Standard experience was pretty entertaining. I, too planned to use monored, but forgot I didn't have my Stromkirks on me, so I used my RUG Combodeck. I went 2-2 with it, and people didn't really know how to deal with it since it's a lot different. It's basically an aggro deck that uses Nivmagus Elemental and Quirion Dryad as the threats of choice. Then, it just throws instants and sorceries around to grow them greatly, and protecting them.
