Both Boros Charm and Izzet Charm have been seeing play in a lot of Modern Decks as of right now, as well as seeing a lot of the other charms seeing play in Standard either on Main or Sideboard.
Boros Reckoner/Spitemare + Izzet Charm + Boros Charm + Azorious Charm = Infinite Life = Profit
I also forgot to mention that during last FNM, I've pulled off the infinite 3 times out of the games that I've played that day. To me, that's quite amazing that with the deck that I have, I was able to use it a lot more times than I believed possible with it.

Lovin' the Turn & Burn. I'm assuming it's been doing well for you?
And it seems you cut out the Izzet Charm.
Meanwhile, apparently my friends are doing a "Fifty Dollar Challenge". We'll build a full deck and sideboard for an FNM, then we'll all participate in it, and whomever places highest gets... something. Don't know the details yet. The catch is that, as the name implies, our decks need to cost less than fifty dollars to make.
I'll be building Maze's End Control. It'll be fun. So inspired by the one I saw at the Pro Tour.

Bob Maher himself wrote an article on the Magic web-page about the new Dark Confidant. Bob himself said that even though he's not happy to see the new art on it, because it was his Invitational, he's glad to see that it's getting re-printed for Modern Masters.
From the article itself :
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/248
"In the end, I don't want to give the wrong impression. I still find it really special to be involved with Dark Confidant. Those of you who refer to the card as "Bob," keep on doing it. If you want me to sign one, don't hesitate to ask, regardless of what art is on the card. Consider this fair warning though: I may draw a stick figure version of myself sitting in that empty throne. It also may or may not have a chat bubble as well, saying "Greatness, at any cost." "
Blink, as for the decklist, Izzet Charm had to be cut out, since I felt like I had enough removal for aggro, that I needed more hard-counters like Rewind, and Dissipate, to counter a lot more of those Reanimator and Control Decks.
As for the $50 challenge, I would use the following in a Maze's End deck :
-Restoration Angel
-Urban Evolution
-Opal Lake Gatekeepers
-Saruli Gatekeepers
-Deputy of Acquittals
-Think Twice
-Supreme Verdict
And if you really want the price to go above $50 for it, add in Sphinx's Revelation.

Isn't Resto still kind of pricey? Besides, I'm gonna go very light on creatures: A set of Saruli Gatekeepers and maybe a Thragtusk or two, that's it. Good blink targets, but it may be too much. Urban Evolution was pretty much an automatic four-of when I first thought of the deck, even before I heard of the fifty-dollar-challenge. Verdict is good, but it may be hard to cast.
And yeah, when this challenge is over, I'll be putting in some Revelations and other better stuff to improve consistency.

Any reactions to the new rules?
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/248e
I think the new Legendary rule is cute...
It's just too bad, I can never say "There can only be one" again.

I don't like changes to the Legendary/Planeswalkers rule. I do believe lore wise, and competitive wise, this was a bad choice to change the rulings. Lore-wise, I can find it idiotic that somehow, there can be 2 of the same creature on the same field, which I feel like it creates some sort of paradox within the lore. An competitive wise, I do find that some of the best way to remove a legendary creature from the field, was to clone it. Now I feel like that mind-set strategy for the game is now completely shot.

What am I supposed to do about Geist of Saint Traft now...?
The clone effects in my sideboard seem useless now.

I do like the sideboarding thing, though. Not that it mattered, since I kinda "cheated" (I sometimes don't have a complete sideboard, so I just put basic lands in until I have 15), but now partial sideboards are okay, and you don't need to sideboard one-for-one, which I've seen mess up some people.

Yes... My opponents' cannot kill my Iona anymore by cloning it...
Lorewise, I can understand if you can clone legendary creatures and have both of them on the field... but... but the Planeswalkers...
Well, this should give me a new perspective in playing Magic.

But, if you played a Legendary, for example : Argus Kos, Wojek Veteran, and then your opponent plays Kos, wouldn't that make some sort of time paradox, in which case, they should cease to exist (a.k.a both blow up and get sent to the graveyard)?

Marvel and DC have also been doing it, so I guess it could pass? An Argus Kos from an alternate or parallel universe?

So, I tried out my new Prime Speaker Bant yesterday at FNM, and it did so well, except for when I hit Top 4 and I got mana screwed 2 out of the 3 games I played.
Decklist if anyone is interested. :
I'm also going to a GPT tomorrow here :

Oww... sucks losing to your deck not functioning properly, but its great you got that far.
I don't see anything wrong with your deck, too; just things I have different preferences of.
Good luck to you. And enjoy yourself.
Will you be using that deck at the GP?
EDIT:
So I finally figured out a sideboard for my Maze's End deck.
Already have tested the maindeck against many different decks and it works waaaaaaaay better than expected, and I already had confidence in it. As expected, control decks can barely (if at all) beat it, and it can slow aggro to a halt so long as I don't stumble and they stumble once.
The sideboard, on the other hand, is almost completely untested; I made it last night, and only got to do some practice rounds against a friend's mono-red today.
Here's the list:
Spoiler:
Sideboard:
Spoiler:
I took inspiration from the control variant of a Maze's End deck from the most recent Pro Tour, but I disagreed with some decisions. They had Crackling Perimeter in the sideboard, while I believed it'd be better mainboard so there's still a win condition if something goes awry. And I hated how the TurboFog variant looked, though the one I took inspiration from didn't have any fog effects.
Regardless, I needed the Fogs, at least sideboard, because of the crazily fast decks.
So far, the only decks I haven't been able to easily beat are Jund aggro and Esper tokens. Basically, if a deck is able to spread very wide very quickly, things are bad for me.
Every other deck I seem to have beat fairly easily. This said, I haven't faced a (good) Naya aggro, yet. I did face a Naya deck that looked like it should have been aggro at first, but ran midrangey cards like Farseek and Huntmaster of the Fells. I kinda destroyed him.
I also realized how mill can be slightly devastating to me; the reason I put Memory's Journey in my sideboard.
Also, I noticed partway through typing this that I think I should have included Pithing Needle in the sideboard.
Extremely fun deck this is~ And all this seems to come down to $45.90*, at least for now. Once this fifty-dollar challenge my friends and I are doing is over, this deck will include different cards for added consistency, but this is already quite good.
*This is according to ChannelFireball, which is the place we're using to determine card prices. I should also note that we're not considering foils (since me and another guy are using some in our decks), and basic lands are not included in the cost.

Hey that deck does look fun to play. Some people who play standard where I'm at have a Maze's End deck they bulit for lulz, but they don't take the deck seriously.

And it actually is very good:
- Control can't beat it, because they can't interact with your land drops. You do "doing nothing", the thing they want to be doing, way better than them, because every land is closer to winning.
- With this much removal in the maindeck, aggro can't stumble, or I can stablize quickly. As soft as this deck looks to aggresive decks, it's actually quite solid (even though I still consider it the bad matchup).
Therefore, its my new competitive Standard deck. I get to have lots of fun, this format. This format seemed fun to begin with anyways; I still have so many other ideas for decks I want to try.
