Ah, I take back what I said about that Burn at the Stake tokens deck. Just saw some hilarious games today where a guy used weird stuff like Epic Experiment, Biomass Mutation, and Burn at the Stake to combo kill his opponents.
Seems fun, and surprisingly more efficient than I would've guessed.
On another note, I learned Game Day is next Sunday where I play, and am trying to decide between Grixis or MonoB (since it seems I'm already close to completing those decks already, just need to update a few things from M14). That Bant deck would need to wait since I still don't have the manabase for it yet.

Gawd, Cube is so much fun, even if I go 0-2, I think the concept of it is just brilliant.
On topic, going to a GP this weekend and hopefully I can do well enough to go onto Sunday. Probably going to run UWR, like usual, since it's the deck that I'm most proficient at, and the one that I most enjoy playing.
Hopefully though, I can save enough money to start finishing up my Modern decks (UWR and Dredge) before I can go back to the USA and play some competitive Modern there.

Indeed. Cube drafts are always fun, even (sometimes, especially) if things go very wrong. I remember a funny time where me and three other friends all tried drafting monored first pack, but since obviously we were all cutting red from each other, had to try to recover and make some other deck work somehow. Only one person did successfully.
Good luck! Is it the same list you used last time? Or were there some changes made?
Oooh, Dredge. Seems fun. Was never sure how to properly build a deck like that (except maybe DredgeVine), but I've wanted to try it.

Thanks. I'll be playing the same list as last time, but thinking if I should change up the SB a bit.
As for Dredge, it uses the Blood Ghast, Hederon Crab, and using Blasting Station as the outlet for Bridge. It also uses the norms for Dredge decks like Golgari Thug, Stinkweed Imp, and Narcomoeba. Uses Beck // Call [Beck side] for when you get zombies, to pretty much combo out your opponent.

Pulled up your list here just to remind myself about it.
Spoiler:
Maybe Rest in Peace in the Sideboard over Purify? It messes with Aristocrats, which seems kinda popular. Not entirely sure what the Reverberate is for... it seems like interesting tech, though.
Any thoughts about putting in AEtherling or any planeswalkers? Jace, Architect seems not bad here, and AEtherling can end games more quickly if it's able to resolve.
Still like the list as it stands, though. Already looks solid.
Pretty sweet. I wanna see that kind of Dredge deck in action someday.

I'd rather run Purify the Grave over Rest in Peace because it's on Instant speed, so it'll give an element of surprise over any Rites deck. It also helps yourself because it keeps your graveyard alive for your Snapcasters, Moorland Haunt, and the Harvest Pyre.
I don't really have a problem against the Aristocrats (Act I,II, or III) because of Izzet Straticasters. Keeps their tokens on lock-down as well as giving the opponent constant pressure by pinging your own Reckoners to re-direct damage.
Reverberate is my own spice for control decks over other counterspells because it can still copy any counters during counter wars, copies Sphinx's to give your opponent their own medicine, and pushes through a lot more damage with stuff like Boros Charm or for Turn // Burn.
I was thinking AEtherling over Jace due to the fact that Jace, Memory Adept seems to die easier than AEtherling, but with the new Legendary Rule in effect, I'll try Jace out for a bit more before replacing him.
As it stands right now, the only thing I'm going to change on SB is using one Cyclonic Rift over two, and using two Detention Spheres instead of one. Again, AEtherling with go into effect depending on how the new Legendary Rule will work out with Jace and seeing if he survives a bit longer than before.

Oh, duh, right, you need your own graveyard. I forgot about that.
And now I understand the Staticaster a little more, though I had a guess that it was for the Aristocrats matchup.
I love your idea of Reverberate. Seems like a great piece of technology.
AEtherling seems faster and more resilient than Jace to me.Both are something your opponent needs to deal with quickly, but with Aetherling, there's almost never a good chance to.

WHOA! That's a lot
I kinda want the one with the Modern card frame, but I don't really need it since I have Tutor for my EDH already (I think...)

The one with the Modern frame is the one from the FTV series (forget which one). Still though, all those cards make me hot for tutors *Laugh*.

Pretty good day today. At a box tournament, I made top 4 with my Grixis deck. As much as I liked how the list looked, I wasn't too confident, since I felt it may be weak to several decks in my shop's meta. It turned out mostly fine, but the Jund matchup seems weaker.
My first match was against Jund. I lost, 1-2, losing twice to topdecked X spells (Bonfire the first time, Rakdos' Return the second). He was often ahead on resources and grinded me down more quickly than I could to him.
Second match was interesting. Played against my friend and his RWU Counter-Burn deck that I can't usually win against at all. Won 2-0 this match, surprisingly. He seemed to have bad draws, and I had seemingly fantastic draws.
Third match was Junk Reanimator. I won, 2-1. So glad I found space for a Rakdos Charm in my sideboard, not that it did anything when I used it. I either had a very aggresive draw, or the one game with a slow draw, he simply hardcasted all his huge creatures after I countered several Unburial Rites.
The fourth match seemed to be BR Zombies. Won 2-1, and could've been 2-0. That deck is pretty terrible when facing off against a deck with four Pillar of Flames and four Snapcasters to rebuy them. I simply lost to my mana because of Burning Earth out of his sideboard during Game 2.
Then I got to semis and lost immediately to another friend playing his own version of a Jund deck. The games were closer than that of my first Jund match, but I still lost 1-2. There were funny moments in these games though.

Got an Angel's Grace from Modern and bought an Italian Dissension, which came with a Quicken, in which I laughed, since it was just re-printed in M14.

Man, the irony. My new deck is both incredibly boring and quite fun to pilot.
I'm now on a Blue-Black control deck, going for very long games. Only wincon is decking my opponent. I've won with damage once, but this was after sideboarding, so I had Notion Thief, which can actually deal damage that matters. Every other time, I've ground down the opponent with Nephalia Drownyard or Jace Memory Adept.
I switched to Blue-Black simply because I wanted to play a more reactive control deck that didn't need me to fork up lots of money for Sphinx's Revelation, and also won't be destroyed by Burning Earth (something that made my Grixis deck lose matchups I shouldn't ever lose). Also, it seemed interesting to build a deck that couldn't never reliably win through damage.
It served me well today during Game Day. I barely missed Top 4.

I think he does. I think I recall there being three.
Congrats, saka, though. I'm kinda jealous. I wanted to try winning that Game Day Champion mat for myself, but fell short.
