DEM TOKENS.
I run more of a Midrange over Control UWR deck. Boros Charm is there for damage and the ability to pull off the infinite life combo with Reckoner (in which case, two games I did).
And thanks for the comment about the tokens. Made them myself. iM@S for life.

How many spells/creatures are you running?
Azorious+Boros Charm= 4 mana for infinite life?
Does Burning Earth screw you up a mite?

24 Lands, 14 Creatures (3 Augurs, 3 Snapcasters, 4 Reckoners, 4 Restos), and 22 Spells.
Yes, depending on the situation. I also have options to set the infinite up myself either using Harvest Pyre or Turn // Burn for 6 Mana.
Burning Earth does screw me up if I let it resolve, but I found myself lucky enough to pull out my D.Sheres out to stop them from becoming an annoyance, because during Aggro match-ups that SB in that card like that, I remove my counters from my MB, and SB in my D.Spheres, Cyclonic Rift, and Jace, Architect. Other than that, I don't have too much against Aggro in my SB because I find my MB very suitable against Aggro.

I just now noticed the tokens since images finally work for me now. Pretty sweet.
How were your matchups during Game Day? RWU seems relatively solid against many decks, but I'm just curious about how your games went.

I like the name Wolf Run Bant more, lol, but in any case, that one actually kinda seems like it'd be a tricky matchup for RWU. Not that I've tested that particular matchup before.
I've seen a similar looking Vampires list before, an old friend used his own version of it at an FNM and did reasonably well.
Junk and Jund seem like hard matchups. Were they? I could be biased toward these decks because these often seem to crush my decks, even a RWU deck I brewed up, lol.
Orzhov Extort sounds interesting... though I'm not sure how great it is. I'm curious about how that was built.
I do love Azorius Control, especially now that Burning Earth is in the format, but I'd imagine your deck is better simply because adding red lets you be aggresive, and, if nothing else, opens up many more options.
A nice variety of decks though. It's nice see that, so every match was probably interesting. Were there any aggro decks around? You didn't seem to play against one.

Anyone get a from the vaults: 20?
Buddy of mine picked one up, not sure if I like how the foiling looks on jace compared to the old foil.
Also realized it has the Swords to plowshares and Dark ritual arts I like in it, must acquire sets of both for teh pimpness.
Playing in a legacy tourney for one tomorrow, hopefully will wreck face.

There will be a box tournament soon at the shop I play at where the winner can replace his prize with FTV: Twenty. Hopefully I can win that one.
I finally started trying out some legacy on cockatrice. It's pretty hard thinking about a bunch of stuff. I'm trying out a U/B control deck and Meathooks.
What deck will you be using, out of curiosity?

Dark Maverick (G/W/b Midrange)
Honestly, unless your set on playing slivers, you may look up Merfolk, it does pretty much the same thing as meathooks, except with a much more stable manabase.
Only downside is you lose HARD to goblins and Umezawa's Jitte.

Cool, cool.
Those downsides are kind of the reasons why. Crystalline Sliver makes it much easier to keep my dudes alive, and other support slivers help in racing. I do like Merfolk, though, but probably more in Modern.
I do like how one can stay mono-U in Merfolk, though, so there's that, extremely consistent manabase.

1-2 drop, five hours of sleep and spending 6 hours in the sun working on a dock makes for a very tired me :(
Otherwise my deck felt very good
@Blink, I think you may over state the downsides, the stable manabase in merfolk is a big reason why merfolk became the dominate Tribal tempo deck of choice (course given there are two, it's not saying much).
Haven't played the modern version although I've been told it's not too bad actually, being able to make spreading seas (contextually of course) the best Mana disruption spell in the format seems very appealing.

Aw, man, that's unfortunate.
What kind of matchups did you play against?
I probably am overstating those downsides. Regardless, I just like Slivers. For some reason, seems more fun.
The modern version of Merfolk is indeed not bad. It beats up on enough decks fairly well when it works right, though I haven't played with it too much, and I hear tell it's pretty bad against Jund.

I played against
Reanimator 2-0 (Karakas FTW)
U/W/r Stoneblade 0-2 (punted a lot)
U/W stone blade (punted a lot)
Not sure, I know last I checked Jund was a rough MU, but this was also when they had Bloodbraid Elf, and every deck but G/R tron had a poor jund mu at the time.

Were you playing too quickly, making careless errors? Or were you not used to the deck?
I still get a feeling it could be bad. Their creatures are usually better, and their removal does a lot of work.

Lol, I was dead fucking tired, I could barely be bothered to keep track of life let alone anything else (only time I can think of I've gotten a warning at competitive REL was at that tournament, 2 at that)

Has anyone here seen the spoilers for Theros?
Thoughtseize will be reprinted. I laugh at people who hoarded them ^o^

I really like Theros a ton. Huge recognizable flavor, not tilted towards alara shard color combos and tons of wonky mechanics.

Devotion, while a cool mechanic, makes me a little sad. I was hoping to play three-or-more colors in the new format (despite Burning Earth being in the format). Now, I need to devote myself (no pun intended) to no more than two colors, and I'm torn between Black or Green, since I still wanna play blue.
