If you're reading this, then damn you have not done a productive thing this entire year.

Don't lazy, watch more anime, and train harder in Street Fighter.

Dearest me,
I hope things have changed these past year. I hope you were able to become a better person and work the things out which didn't go that well. You didn't have any new year resolutions but I'm sure you had a lot of other things floating in your mind which could count as the same.

I know things are confusing, hard and difficult from time to time. Also I know you have trouble with your confidence and trust. Nothing in life is easy but the world isn't as bad as it seems. Don't give up hope. Don't give up trying. And Don't give up believing. I'm sure you can handle it. It might seem impossible now but take one step and one thing at a time. You will never be able to do 1000 things at one time. Time might seem to run out but things take the time it needs, don't rush it.

You might need to change and go out of your comfort zone to try something different. It isn't enough to be just open minded and willing to change, if you don't try it. Stop being such a picky whiny person. Stop feeling bad for yourself. You might feel horrible right now but it will change and so many people have it worse than you. Just accept the things around you and move forward. Yes things go bad, no you can't do everything alone, and no you can't do everything perfect. Control your OCD don't let it take over and try to subdue your jealousy and angst. Your worst nightmare is only what you think and make it to.

Stop over thinking things and trust other people. You can't avoid getting hurt and you can't befriend every single person you meet in your life. Some times it just don't work out. Don't take and put all the blame on yourself. Taken your unstable emotional psyche you better not think everything is your fault or even worse stop caring. Don't freeze and remove your emotions. Stop locking your feelings away and try to open up to people again. It gets harder with age, but you used to be so bright and smile so much. When did it start hurting when you smiled? Change it! Make smiling something pleasurable instead of hurting.

Also lastly stop lying to yourself and stop trying to be someone you aren't. It is easier to pretend to be someone better, more amazing and "perfect" but you are not perfect. No one is. So stop chasing something you can't get. Instead of chasing the impossible you should start dreaming again. When was last time you dreamt of something? Figure out who you are and be true to yourself. Stop making excuses for yourself and believe in the things that is happening right now.

Life will always push you into darkness and some people will lend you some light and some will try to steal it. Accept it all and keep going. Because no matter what if you believe in yourself you'll have your own light strong enough to light your own path that no one can steal. I love you even though you keep denying it and have a hard time believing it. It will work out, and you will have to both say goodbye to old things and welcome new things.

Smile! Because no matter what other people say and what you make up in your mind, it will make you more beautiful!

I hope you've turned more sour and kept your two friends close. Hope your head still works, I need it a few more decades, then I can get killed by a mob for not bending over. I'm sorry I couldn't fix your problems and gave you even more.

Granted the year was already difficult and towards the end became a sense of false bliss, but it was nice and worth the pain in the end right? Let it go, you did the best you could do and gave her all your heart. In the end, it may have been too rushed to trust her and you couldn't do anything to save her but you can love again. Maybe you'll find someone this year, who can help you burden the troubles. Yes, you may think your life is harsh and granted, it's pretty bad, but there are others who are worse off than you. Let her be a reminder of that. You can wait for her, but don't expect it to happen soon if at all. You can keep trying, but know that efforts are possibly in vain. By the time you have read this, hopefully you have made up your mind on the matter, but if not, note the wisdom that you already posses but fail to harness. Try hard with these things, as you always have. Eventually, with you being a little more open, things may work out. Maybe the romantic prospects you'd like to have are no longer possible, but still be happy with some possibilities.

As for the more important educational things, hopefully you're in a place you are very happy at right now, since you should be in a good school by now. And if anything, travel lots, as you always have wanted. Remember, not to procrastinate, come up with good ideas, and PURSUE THEM. Don't laze around as you have before. Hone the skills you have and make a name for yourself with them. Don't be cocky, by now, you should have met people that should put you in your place. Accept your position but strive for more. Stop lying about yourself and do something with your life.

In the end, take today as a day to be a break, I hope you have earned it. There are still friends that care out there. Maybe they'll never be able to empathize with you, but accept sympathy as well. Don't seek attention too much though. Love yourself and love will find you.

how have you been doing?
Remember how fun it was at your smash tournament?
I hope you remembered that and finally tried to get to know some more people you could be comfortable with.
Have you ever gotten better at smash? Or did you drop it somewhere along the way?
What about street fighter? Did they finally bring back Alex and Karin?
Most importantly did you go to Touhoucon? If you did then I want you to always remember it. I won't take "I didn't go" for an answer.
Well now that questions are over I want to tell you something.
Don't be a retard like always and do what needs to be done. Procastination is fine once in awhile but not all the time. Find a nice job and move out of Vancouver into a nicer, more affordable city, if you already did, then that's awesome. Lastly, find that special someone, I know you aren't up to it but it'll be better once it's time.
