MLB Playoffs 2014
Who Wins the World Series
0
I know not many baseball fans around but oh well. So first recap first round then favorites for the the next.
Wild Card
Kansas City win over Oakland
This was an amazing game. It really felt like KC had some magical about them being down 7-3 only come back to tie and then win 9-8 in extra innnings.
San Francisco over Pittsburgh
Well this game was surprising. Mister Madison Bumgardner was just amazing. He shut the game down and it was basically over in 5 innings.
ALDS
Baltimore - 3
Detroit - 0
Detroit had 3 aces going in the series, 3!, and they got swept in 3! They both had decent offenses, but Detroit had 3! aces. Now nothing against Baltimore cause their offense and bullpen has just been amazing all year, and that is losing both guys at the corner in the infield and your catcher. But the whole point comes down to Detroit bullpen had a 19 ERA in the series and was just terrible.
Kansas City - 3
Angels - 0
This was just shocking. KC won 3 games straight against what was considered the best team in the league this year. Angels had best offense, but no one showed up and worse their pitching just wasn't great, especially CJ Wilson. Again though this felt like there was magic in KC with winning first 2 in extras, and their closer showing up in the 6th in game 2 to close the game later. KC is a fast good defensive team with a great bullpen so they really will be tough.
NLDS
San Francisco - 3
Washington - 1
This series says they played only 4 games but that game 2 was basically 2 games alone since they went 18 innings. This series shows how important pitching is in the playoffs with great starting pitching, but Washington having a struggling bullpen. Really felt like a playoff series with runs only coming at a premium. The win gives SF 7 straight playoff series wins which scares me cause well even number year and they have won the last 2 even number years.
St. Louis - 3
LA Dodgers - 1
I will say I am biased here cause I love the Cards since I grew up here in St. Louis. With that said they beat the best pitcher in the game, TWICE. LA is a really good team and they have 2 really good starters, but just felt they don't have that finishing factor to them, yet. Cards on the other hand are just meant for October. Their bats started waking up, doesn't matter if more so only in 7th inning, and their pitching, outside of Waino, was amazing. Cards have now had 4 straight NLCS and we are looking at going back to the World Series to finish what they were able to get last year.
ALCS
KC vs Baltimore
NLCS
San Francisco vs St. Louis
Who do you think will win in the series or what matchup do you want to see. I think I would like to see a i70 series rematch between St. Louis and KC.

Did the Royals just make the World Series? Unbelievable. I can't believe it. They are scorching hot right now.
