My Co-Workers are part Snail OR I am a Chair Wizard
0
So today at work at least one of the following must be true:
Context: I work in event setup and teardown. I was the only one stacking chairs while 2 of my co-workers were supposed to wheel them into the chair closet. Well somehow I was able to stack 310 chairs before even 1 got to the closet less than 8 feet away (and yes they EACH had THEIR OWN chair cart).
- My co-workers are (part) snail and I should respect their snail heritage by allowing them to take forever on things
- I have secretly been a chair wizard my whole life and never knew it until I got a job stacking chairs

Gravity cat

So basically what you're saying is, you're better and more efficient at your job than your coworkers.
I got told today at work that I'm the only one who actually works for my money. While not entirely true since I've just been trying to catch up to the level of everyone else since I'm among the newer guys there (though I've been there for a little while now), it still made me feel gud that what I've been doing is getting noticed. It helps that I get bored without things to do so find myself things to do.

What I'm saying is... they did nothing for almost an hour. It's not an issue of speed it's an issue of them not even trying.

Yeah, some people are lazy fucks.
I worked with some guys wherein I'd build and raise and set three walls before two guys had even finished one.
There was one guy who was actually a decent worker- but you really had to get and stay on his case- elsewise he'd just wander around, on his phone, or just talking.

Well we have another guy who does not work fast but at least he works hard, which I totally respect.
But, seriously, don't disappear into the chair closet to play on your phone.
