Odd Combinations.

Have you ever had one of those nights where you were bored, alone, and contemplating suicide, then you drag yourself to the store, walk around for a moment, grab two (or more) food items, and then feel better after eating them, but can't explain why? For me, this combination would be pineapple soda and Kettle corn Popcorn. I have absolutely no clue as to why this works for me, but when I hit that low, I need to have one, if not both, of these things to keep me afloat.

"The most common reason is Endorphine. A drug your body releases and stimulates the pleasure center of the brain. These are released when people have sex, eat, a back rub, successfully perform a stunt on a bike or skateboard (which is why people do those things too).
When a person is depressed, they eat as a way to do something to occupy their time, and it provides a relief, even if not noticed. "
tl;dr- Diagnosis: EATING DISORDER.
-Dr. Shino
I personally don't fix my mood with eating.
Contemplating suicide? Get a hobby, any hobby (art is best) and get a job. You'll be smiling wide before you know it. Maybe look up in ads some sport or marathon where you'll be able to interact with people.

Sounds like you might have depression. Unfortunately in the UK there's a stigma attached to having depression or thinking you have depression, because people here think it's something that's not worth calling an illness and that the person should just "get over it" like it's that easy. The negative thoughts can be caused by a trigger memory or you might just feel down in the dumps for no reason. My advice to you is to see a doctor about that, because that ain't normal. Either that or take up a hobby.
But my favourite snack drinks right now is Pomegranate juice. I discovered it last week at the 99p shop and wondering why I haven't discovered it sooner.

I definitely agree that the British mentality doesn't really tend to sympathise with depression - might have something to do with the fact that we aren't nearly as expressive as our American cousins. As for food, it does help sometimes but I prefer to just drown my thoughts out with music from my iPhone. Just sitting there and being immersed in calming or epic music is enough to put my mind back to a more stable state.

When I am a little moody or down I'll eat some comfort food or something I am in the mood for, but to eat foods out of the sake of depression and sucicide is a pretty big red flag that you're suffering from something much worse then the occasional blues. The thing you are using as a picker upper can either become an unhealthy habbit or could eventually fail to do its job leading to further idealations of sucicide.
As other's have said, you either need to talk to someone (perferably a physician) or find other healthier habbits that can get your mind off of these thoughts.

You need to talk with someone cause this thread started very serial killer to me...
Anyway to answer the not creepy part of the post. I usually don't mix odds things, at least not odd to me. Snack wise I will either eat some fruit or have a bowl of cereal. Sometimes I get the occasional candy craving, but nothing weird is put with any of those outside of maybe a soda or juice to drink.

A dairy milk caramel bar in a toasted pepperoni and cheese bagel.Ahhh memories...
As for myself, I regularly go on runs when I'm depressed (Which has been more frequent) and then treat myself to something afterwards to try and lift my spirits. Exercising helps with the release of stress and the treat itself helps me feel better. Probably wouldn't work with clinical depression to the point where you're thinking of committing suicide but it can certainly help.
Probably talking to a professional would probably be a better choice to deal with these thoughts. That's what I'm doing right now.

It tasted terrible. Probably the worst torture my mouth has ever been through. I can't understand how you liked it! ^_^ Although I only got the bread and cheese, never tasted it with the pepperoni, maybe that may have made it better?

Just thought of an Odd Combination I've had: Gravy granules in a milkshake.
I was being silly with a friend, and I can vouch for how foul it is.
