[Prob Fixed] Problems with Utorrent, with pics

No matter what torrent or how many seeds, it doesn't work.



Yesterday it was doing the same as well, only with "Downloading 0.0%"

No matter what site I get a torrent from, or if it's say a movie or a manga, it doesn't work at all.

ISP? Do you have the correct ports forwarded?

I don't speak the computer language. Tell me what I need to show and where and I'll do it.

A few more questions, have you tried temporarily disablng avast and seeing if the downloads go through? Have you had any problems using utorrent before?

I don't think Avast has anything to do. I've never had this problem before. It's been 3-4 days of this problem already. Any ideas yet?

try double clicking the second square from the bottom right (where the green icon is in this image, might need to open image in a new tab to see it) and run the network test (no need for the bandwidth one).

I ran the test and this is what I got.

I never upgraded or updated.

try right clicking and run as administrator

Ive had this problem before. Could be a program error or either ISP error.

I would suggest you try other torrenting programs aside from utorrent and bittorrent.

Try out tixati, vuze, deluge, bitlord and many more and see if the problem still persists.

If it does, could really be an ISP issue. Or there have just been something that you have done that messed up something around your pc that you cant recall...

Either way you could always wait for it to start working again, which I did in the past and i was able to download torrents again, thankfully.

Ran as administrator this time, I tried torrents from g-e/ex and they downloaded perfectly, but piratebay.se and kickass.to Star Trek torrents continued to have the problem. Am I b& from those sites maybe?

2. i getting invald url and i only get that when i use a program to no register download nor download count on private site( only used it for one torrent that would kill my ratio and never get uploaded back anyways.)

1. But the 2 torrents were different sites and the cam was from kickass.to. The piratebay btw, wasn't a cam file.
3. Fair point, but I have atm a shitty 32 gb of which I have less than 2-3 gb's free remaining. I just did what you said and get a different file,

I feel like a complete retard right now. Why the piratebay file which wasn't a cam didn't work either is a mystery to me still.

a) Are there any seeds on the torrent you are downloading? It normally does that till it has found a solid connection to a seed to download from. Mine sometimes takes 10 minutes to find one (depending. My connections are pretty hitler) Give it some more time/ check to see if the torrent has seeds. It looks like it may not.

b) Have you actually given it any time to connect to seeds? You gave it what? 3 minutes to connect/ find seeds. Leave it for a few hours, keeping tabs, and see what it does if it definitely has multiple seeds.


I don't use a torrent unless it has quite a few seeds, mostly because it downloads faster, and usually the more seeds it has, the more genuine it is (in theory)

Oop, missed the bit where it was fixed. But still, keep an eye out for seeds/ give it some time to connect
