just finished building my MG Crossbone X1 Ver KA.
the mantle can be quite a pain in the ass so this time,it's pretty simple.
gonna put some of the decals later if i didn't jump to building my "guilty pleasure" MS that i have in mind.

now i'm ready for Bandai Premium's X2.

holy shit, that's so freakin cool, Age-2 Darkhound is no-match for this epic pirate.
anyway, did you have problems with the legs? some people complained about the legs, as they tend to break easily.

damn right it is.
i have no problem with the legs so far.
but if it's about the looseness of the armors, there's some like the tights armor, front skirt since it can transformed into a grappling chain and the drill whip handle at the rear skirts.

Just asking, cause I'm considering getting one.
Was thinking of doing what Winter did with his, with some grey on it, but not as dark.

well,i did that straight building for the sake of you guys too.
that way, when i finished it first,i can give you guys some pointers before you guys can build and paint one yourself.
his grey was quite dark so you better find some light grey for it.

Great, now I just need to work on paint mixing, thinning, and applying decals.

There's a new brand in our local market, under Pylox's Lazer brand, they have a wide variety of grays, but I still have to try the other variants out.
I tried their deep gray, it's all right. I used it in my current work, the add-on armor parts (the chest and shoulders) as well as the backpack and weapons are in deep gray.

Of course I know it's too dark for some of the armor panels, it's named Deep gray after all...just giving you a heads up that there are other brands out there that might interest you,I also did mention that they have other variants of grey out there, thus implying that there might be a shade that is light enough that might suit your needs, and at least it's not as thick as Bosny.
@Satsugai: I personally don't think that LEDs are worth it for any kit, (if you're just gonna use it for eyes or a single GN drive that is)I just think of LEDs as a "one time affair" eg: only good for pictorials. But I also think it's nice to flick a switch once in a while ^_^ Full LED projects such as lighting up the Unicorn's psychoframe is different though, I think that's worth it...

Hmmm I hope there's a lighter tone of gray than haze gray...
@satsugai
It's better if you paint the eye

I'm done with my Stark Jegan . I slightly made modifications to make its missile pods as part of its backpack instead of being mounted on its shoulders, as the original set up of the missile pods didn't sit well with me. I also made an additional weapon for it, salvaged from a scrapped MG Zeta Gundam 2.0, which came from a bag of parts which I bought a few years back. I also extended its included beam rifle and added a pair of machine cannons on its body, using the old Jegan parts that came with the kit. Paints used were locally available industrial spray cans.
It's not a mad mod or a masterpiece, but I do hope you guys like it. Comments and suggestions are very welcome!
Thanks for looking ^_^
