Well, here's my RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 "G04", took a total of 16 1/2 hours to build and panel line. I plan on applying the decals later on.Spoiler:
sorry about the quality - webcams could only do so much.
i thought, it was another recolored variant of the rx-78.
It looks so clean. would love to see more of that.
especially if the decals would be applied.
And Dat Gun, it would look so cool standing beside the Rx-78-5. the one with the gattling gun.
i guess That Grand-daddy gundam has something more than meets the eye.
meanwhile
still unfinished.
CnC's are always welcome. :)

Thanks, I try my best to make my models look clean - cutting off the extra plastic with a hobby knife, closing the parts tightly enough that it's not loose and that you don't see the seams between the parts, clean panel lining, and eventually I'll try my hand at sanding.
Right now I'm gonna leave the model as is until my days off from work, then I'll try to apply the decals to the appropriate places.
And your project looks like it's coming along very nicely; makes me want to give a try at applying different paint schemes.
I want to try this for a Gouf Custom

makes me want to grab a gouf now. but i need to money invest on a AB-kit. Waahh.
About sanding, you might want to be careful, i kinda screwed-up a couple of times during painting.
after sanding if you did it with a 400-800 sandpaper., you might want to sand it again using a higher grit like 1000 to 1500. because if you did not do that, the ugly surface would be more visible even if it is painted.

well, this is something that shouldn't happen but it still does.
you can check it by using pencil or primer.
using some pencil shaves, and applying it by brush or any material. if it tends to be stuck on some point, sand it again.
as for primer, it acts as a leveler.and it helps paint stick better than the usual.
400-800--->1000 or any higher grit ---> Pencil Check --> Prime.
UGLY,

Looks like everyone has been busy lately. Sadly academic life has been occupying my time so I haven't made much progress with my kits, but here is the progress for my MG Turn A and my conversion of the MG Crossbone to a custom Flint, which I plan to call the Amethyst.

Eh MG Turn A looks different than I expected.
In gunpla news,
the RC MSN-04-2 Nightingale kit looks and sounds like a bad buy and build.

If they made a MG Nightingale, it'd be like building a PG.Just waiting for the moment when Kshatriya goes into MG.
Random notice: it's kinda funny how the model keep getting bigger after each UC series.

Hey Winter, you should consider getting a PG MKII.
Why?

Me and my friend was plannin on buying a knock off just so we can mod it like the real deal. Maybe by the end of the year if ever I get enough money... So far, I can tell that the plastic can be manageable.

I don't even have the cash to get an Ex-S gundam, yet alone the PG, even if it's around $140

I finished the Color scheme. A little bit of detailing and decals and i am done.
but i am not that yet satisfied. The Red GN Stripes, and Condensers Look Off.
for now, i am currently thinking if i would apply some Gunnmetal Gray on the Psuedo Frame Itself and also use some clear plastic for the stripes.
so far so good. since this guy will be stuck on my Log, i guess i would apply some coat for this guy. since i won't be touching this for a long time.
