I certainly have made some big mistakes and only a lot of time and a little luck eased the situation.

I'd have to know what the situation was to know if I'd ever been in a similar one. I've fucked up in various ways though.
Quitting French after finishing the mandatory public school education is biting me in the ass now that I want to work for the government. I have to each myself from scratch :/
I've had some pretty bad flubs with women that aren't particularly heartbreaking or interesting but in the moment it definitely felt like I threw away a fish that had jumped right into my boat. Or that I had completely imagined having a chance.
I don't think I've ever fuck up irreparably yet though. Time and retrospective analysis fixes pretty much anything. Unless it literally shortens your lifespan you can work around basically anything.

Everyone messed up in life to some degree. This is just the trials we go through. I messed up cause I put my jelly on before peanut butter, but now I know peanut butter and then jelly....

I have the habit of running away from my problems when things get too much.
In college I put my heart and soul into a presentation but ended up getting a bad mark, and I needed it to pass. Felt like a failure and stopped turning up, instead I went to the woods during college hours to clear my head. They convinced me to return though so I could focus on other subjects for said passing grade.
I've also let past bad friendships and relationships affect my outlook on life. I've become habitually cynical.

Oh, plenty of them, but luckily it all turned up fine, or in some cases, it turned out especially well. Well, if you ask for the worst one, perhaps that one time my project failed splendidly and I lost about a million bucks.

Honestly... Puberty and me did not go hand in hand. I became quite the moody bitch and hung with the wrong kind of crowd because it was the "cool" thing to do...
And then one day I saw my dad crying over how he felt he was failing as a good father and that made me realize who I was and who I wanted to be were total opposites.

i got into the habit of stealing things from Walmart, it got so bad i took stuff just to take it. yes, eventually i was caught and it really screwed me over. I had the charge expunged but the disappointment from my parents was life changing.
there is a bigger screw up that i dont like to talk about, nothing happened because of what i did but its the "what if" that breaks my heart.

Never stare in silence when a girl tells you she loves you. And never accidentally tell her you love her a few weeks later.

I've messed up alot before.
One I think I can share with you was when I was at my mum's house, but I didn't realise she was home too. I got fully naked and layed on my bed and started to masturbate. She walked in on me and I got shouted at for an hour xD
