Still play Duel masters?

I don't know about the the US, but duel masters and Yugioh were the staple games .
My dad threw away my last deck, had kunkai (guy who untapped every time he blocks) and a couple of alchedias and stuff. even stratosphere giant. but mained a nature light deck with low mana blockers with 4 diamond curators and 4 holy awes . Does anyone still or used to play? post your general deck composition here

I ran a two decks, a water deck with splash light. That focused on pushing for Crystal lancer the second the mana was ready, and some jenky darkness deck because it was a favorite of mine.
Can't remember the build behind them since I've long lost those cards, (I was grade 7 at the time) But i know that i was a terror of the playground in that time :D

That name brings back memories man. Though I don't remember the specifics anymore my friends and I started playing em at 3rd grade and continued up until we got into Junior High. We'd play at lunch break, between classes and during recess with kids from the entire grade. We'd spread rumors about the 'legendary xxxxxxx kid with an unbeatable deck' etc. Oh fun times.
No amount of confiscating could get us to stop. The only thing that did stop us down was the launch of the DS, and that led to a whole new realm of troubles at school lol.
We did play Yugioh as well though I didn't really like it all that much. I had a composite deck made up of Beast, Zombie and Spellcaster type monsters (I bought them in packs) and a few effect cards. I didn't really know their value back then and so I usually gave away those instead of my monster cards , which is probably why I had my ass handed to me all the time.

haha yeah it does bring back a lot of memories. I've read it up and it seems like the nature of the game has changed a lot and it has also been renamed as kaijudo.
I wasn't that interested in Yugioh because of the arithmetic of life points, so I gave up pretty early. Yugioh is still popular in my high school, where the asian nerds revived it.
and yeah, I basically kept low mana blockers to avoid crystal lancer. I would try and get as many on the field before the 6th turn, and use diamond cutter + holy awe.
I got kicked out of preliminaries at a local tournament because my deck was 'not legit'. I even have a unplayable tournament card somewhere in my trash that my dad threw out. (he's an insane Christian, and he regarded DM as a demonic game)
did you guys have any strata that worked really well for you? eg 4 death smokes FTW
