Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles

Michael Bay is making a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie but is taking the "Mutant" out of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" by making them Aliens from outer space......this is real. Heres a video I found.

I've read about that at IGN. The "Mutant" part of the title is actually a big part of the story. I'm thinking that it gives them leverage for adding new characters for sequels after the turtles defeat Shredder in the upcoming movie. Its pathetic. Michael Bay continues to rape our childhood cartoons. What's next?

Got Megane?
Actually in all fairness, yes I do hate Bay as much as the rest of us, but he's only a Producer not even executive, he's not directing or writing anything for this movie, or at least not yet. So I am not going to call this crap just yet. I'll prob call it a big bowl of meh till I see and hear more.

Kyle: Then I was right. Job has all his children killed, and Michael Bay gets to keep making movies. There isn't a God.

Nostalgia Critic's word on thisOne Side of me of 3:
This movie has the potential to be horrible but after 3 transformers movies, this *battleship movie*, why should we care. Hell, Bay does give a shit stain about what he's doing to this movie as long as he makes money. So that said, I'm looking forward to "Racist, Alien, Big Boobied Explosion"

Thank God!!!
Hopefully, they cut off micheal bay's balls/I mean drop him from the production, and maybe that spark of hope would turn into a slim ray of hope that this movie will be....50-50

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! I'm fucking sick of Micheal Bay turning color cartoons into dark, generic and edgy piles of shit!
Edit - Find the difference

Spoiler alert: THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE!

I am completely scared of this movie. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a childhood favorite tv show. So I am scared this movie might be Catwoman bad and I rather then not see them ruin the TMNT.

my guess is that you've never read the original comics the campy 1980s cartoon and all other media was based on
the original source material for tmnt is dark and gritty as fuck
and violent. pretty damn violent.
so far this movie is sticking to something similar to that, so i'm all for it for now.

Batman matured from the good ol' 1950's and found his mature character. Ninja Turtles have sort of 'anti-matured.'
While, yes, I haven't read all of the original TMNT comics (but I know what you're talking about), I'm sure they're fine.
But they have turned into something else now. Trying to go back to it is to repeat the bad side of history.
Also, if this is trying to be mature and serious, why is there the "It's just a mask" scene in the trailer?

Honestly, It won't ruin your childhood. Chances are the show you speak of may not be as good as you remember. But the movie can't change what you already like. And being perfectly honest Ninja Turtles has been constantly shit on long before this. Live action television show anybody? How about the stage tour where they were a rock band? Anyone old enough to remember that?
