All this whining about ruining something, that was ruined before you even got there. The original comic book was pretty dark and brutal. It was also in black and white, and not for children. That cheery colorful cartoon mess you all love is a worse insult to the original TMNT, than this movie is to that dreck.

I'm just curious how many random explosions Bay will be able to pack into this. Maybe say their shells are just covered in plastic explosives :D.

I'm not sure what's sillier the look of the turtles, Robo Shredder or Megan Fox as April. Probably the turtles. Mostly looking like gang members and Donatello looking like every possible geek stereotype that they could imagine.

At the very least I just hope it's a passable movie. Get a few laughs without them turning the turtles into those racially insulting transformers from the second movie and it'll be ok....probably.

I'm very familiar with the Mirage Comics original, but let's not forget.

If it wasn't for the 80's cartoon, the turtles wouldn't be the household names that they are today.

Also, it had James Avery as Shredder, nothing can top that.

Turtles are fuckin freaky as hell and not a big fan of Megan Fox. Shredder looks pretty cool (acting my change that for me) and I haven't seen enough of the commercials to see how they did with master splinter. Will probably watch it via sketchy streaming or something since I am too cheap to go to the theaters to watch it.

I think saw something in one of the commercials that I thought said they were created in a lab. If they're altering the origin story that way, are they completely ignoring Krang(Utroms)? Are they angling for a similar chronology with Shredder/Foot arc first, Krang second, Thus setting up a future sequel opportunity? Are they going off the rails and saying Krang created the turtles on purpose? Krang did some mutation stuff in the Nick version, but never deliberately in any other version that I can recall. Will they end up following them through the transporter deal-y, and eventually getting to the Triceratons and all those fun times? Will they go even more out there and just make up a whole new story? And what about Splinter? I don't think I've seen anything about him in the commercials. If he's there at all, are they going to alter his origins too? Will he no longer be the pet of Shredders rival?

Who knows, maybe it won't be so bad.




The more I think about it, that is probably what offends me most about the new movie. I can't stand that hollow plastic bitch.

A group of friends and I are going to see this for the sole purpose of making fun of it. Gonna be the highlight if the summer.

Ha, I remember Michael Bay just left a presentation for a new tv but forgot the lines and just left
