TFC Green Apple Salad

[size=15]Hey guys, did ya miss me?
Here's my entry for this month's competition a healty "Green Apple Salad". Most people don't like salads cus they say it's missing some flavor but you can never go wrong with apples [size=10](top 5 favourite fruits)[/h]
I just decided to make the salad, I'll leave the main dish to the eater's choice

Ingredients:
[size=15]1 Tart apple
Some leftover lettuce used on a salad
1 Carrot
Spinach
[/h]
Steps:
[size=15]1) Clean and disinfect any and all the ingredients the appropiate way
2) I started by making a bed of spinach giving it the shape of the plate
3) Poured the sliced lettuce on top of it as well as mixed along with some more spinach (I like spinach)
4) After peeling the carrot into thin slices i covered up the mixture of the dish
5) Sliced the apple in half and sliced it into thin slices (a total of 6 in this case)
6) Saute'd the dish and done[/h]

Basically your standard salad but with apple slices in it. Sounds simple enough. Will certainly add a pleasant sweetness to an otherwise usually-bland salad

Your presentation was great, the flavors are all there and nicely balanced, but I feel like you could have done more, taken it one step further. A salad in and of itself should not have to support a dish by itself, it should be something that plays a part in a culinary duet. A great dish, very refreshing looking...I give it 6.5 out of 10.

Anywho, looks yummy. But I don't like my salads with fruits.
Don't get me wrong, I loveeee salads, but when there's fruits in it... I usually don't eat them.
