I was just wondering what is that song or songs that when you are driving or listening to your radio or music player makes you stop and sing out loud?

Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody"

'Bottleneck at Capel Curig' by Half Man Half Biscuit

'Irony' by Claris

'One week' by Barenaked Ladies

'Skogsdotter' by Finntroll (I get some weird looks with this one)

'Rauta' by Korpiklaani (complete with air-hurdy-gurdy)

All of these make me want to get my guitar, which is a better move considering I can't sing at all :)

I actually sing along too pretty much everything. The more I like the song the more likely I am to sing along with it I suppose.

Yes, it actually gets weird when I try to put some musics at the same time when playing some game. I will try to sing, get a stun to the face... (Mordred's Song, soundtrack for playing Mortred, the Phantom Assassin on dota haha)

Yeah the neighbours have a go when I sing like that because I generally have to yell to get that high pitched + I'm loud enough already ;)

Just a few songs of the top of my head. Aside from American Pie, I don't think any of them are great songs (they're just okay) but they each have a great and memorable chorus. Those are certainly songs that make me sing out loud but I think they would work very well too while traveling with friends.

Aw man, it's been so long since I've heard that song.
I'm gonna listen to it after this post...

And I thought of another one of my favorites, a Hawaiian song:

I discovered it one or two weeks ago. It's wearing off now but when I found it, I was listening to it about twenty times a day and I couldn't stop replaying it in my head and couldn't stop humming it either.

A bit lame, I know but it has a great chorus. Very memorable and explosive. The ones that make one sing carelessly, whether alone or in a group, are songs with high, memorable choruses, I find.

I remember the song I used to sing with my friend in school was "Beelzeboss" by Tenacious D.

Nothing like sitting in the classroom before the teacher arrives, singing the line
