Anyone here from the UK who watches The Apprentice? Or any other countries in fact, because I have seen other international editions.
I have only just started to catch up with 2014's series. What do people think about this show? I don't know much about the business world but are business people expected to come up with concepts, products and everything else like that? For that reason I think the show is unfair and quite unrealistic, because usually they'd hire a creative person for all that stuff and focus on the selling side of things. Like I said, I'm not expert. So if anyone wants to enlighten me go ahead.

My mom and I are huge fans of Donald Trump. In fact, we actually met I met him once and my mom met him twice at the Trump Tower. Anyway, my opinion the show will be somewhat biased, but I like it. I started watching when it was first released, and I still watch it now just not as much as I did in the past. I have always been interested in reality shows or anything regarding business because that's what my family do. Like you said though, it's not the most realistic display of how business are ran and how goods are sold. That said, Donald Trump needs to make money and have viewers right? I guess it is inevitable that the show will be tweaked a little bit to entertain and attract viewers.

I personally haven't watched the American Apprentice, it can't be that much different from the English one.
Don't get me wrong, I love the show. Been watching it for a few years, but it always bothers me when Lord Sugar (the big baws) asks these suited-number-driven people to come with stuff like boardgames and logos, then he complains the final outcome is shit.lol
Either way the show can be hilarious and at least I have an idea of what the business world is like, i don't understand most of the words they use to do with profit but it feels good when you can point out a shit deal/product
