The Priority of Humanity

In your opinion, what is the one thing humanity as a whole should prioritize on doing in order to improve our well being? It could be anything from ending world hunger to space exploration.

This is a tough one for me. All areas of our lives need improving in some way. If I had to pick one, I'd say saving the environment. I hear that is going to shit and it is getting to the point where the damage is irreversible.

We have - or at the very least can produce - enough food to feed the entire world. We just don't because we sell it for money and 1/3 of it gets wasted; either rejected because of Supermarket standards or it goes off.
Something to think about.

Well if population keeps increasing then I guess creating a separate area to populate wouldn't be a bad idea , mars or moon, but also would be incredibly hard to do so without quicker space travel.

Improve schools around the world so that they educate young children things besides reading, writing, math, etc. Such as respect, listening, not judging others, etc.

Dealing with third world problems?
Though that's a collection of tough issues rather than a single one.
I'd think education should come first, and I don't mean the teaching respect, listening to others, or whatever (total waste of time in my opinion, by the way). There are so many children around the world unable to study despite the amount of government funded schools out there.
Over-populated countries could always use more quality education, especially higher-education.

Make nerve-gear a reality, if we can't do that, then how about we take about 10% of the oceans water, filter it, and dump it around desserts for plants to grow and people to feed off, the plant grow will filter some co2 and if we all just stop complaining and build a few wind turbines on the ocean we can stop co2 completely and save this damn rock... its the only planet with internet and beer.

Distribute food properly , we have enough for everyone but waste everything. I think this is a priority.
Stop making weapons (as in ,preparing for war, like missiles and shit)
Get rid of North Korea , facebook and tumblr
I also liked what someone said about making futanari pills

Even if you continually replenished the water (at great cost), all you would do is destroy a desert ecosystem and replace it with a teetering society utterly dependent on external water sources.

I am a huge fan of sustainable energy, but making offshore wind farms is probably not practical. First you have the concern that you may damage aquatic ecosystems with their construction, maintenance, and operation. Then you have the fact that human power consumption (which grows every day as more countries industrialize and more people start to consume the luxuries we are so used to) vastly outpaces even the most generous estimates of what we can produce without fossil fuels. If you want to become a CO2-neutral planet, you'll need to change human behavior so that people conserve energy more.
That or make sure we fund our space programs so that we can bring beer and internet to other planets once we've wrecked this one.

Build a time machine and go back to the past to accelerate the development of technology worldwide and make the Y2K happen in 500AD somehow. Then everything will work out.
Seriously though, undoing mistakes would also be nice, you know, with a time machine.
