Oi Oi, any Toku hero fans out there and if so what are your top 5 and why
For me 1. Kamen rider(all showa/heisei) 2. Inazuman 3. Garo 4.Ultraman(showa/heisei) 5.(All uchuu keiji(space sheriff series) Reason being they have played a pivotal role in how i saw heroes(toei spider man, lion-maru, and Jiraiya, and b fighter would have made the list but i said top 5 so bleh) plus I was trained in the martial arts since 5 so watching shows like this as a kid truly influence my goal to be a hero or anti(mainly cuz a a fucked childhood but who doesn't have that.) It also helped in pursuing a career as a stuntman/suit actor and such. well there is alot more to it but rather not bore you guys and gals.

I only got into tokusatsu relatively recently, IE: around when Gekiranger was starting, so I don't have alot of attachment to it. That being said, I have seen a few. I am stoked for the eventual releases of Zyuranger on DVD in North America, and hopefully it sells well enough to warrant further releases of Super Sentai series. As for a top 5 for me:
1. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger
2. Kamen Rider Kabuto
3. Samurai Sentai Shinkenger
4. Kamen Rider Den-O (just the core series and its movie, not the clusterfuck of stuff added to it afterwards).
5. Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger.
Loved all the sentai from the early 2000's honestly, but Dekaranger is my favorite. Dekamaster is the fuckin man =p
