So guys, I have some sports news. I am training to be a power lifter and will compete in the USPF Nationals in Las Vegas on May 3rd!
My current personal records are;
Bench: 180
Squat: 298
Deadlift: 320
(These were my last competition numbers)
So any power lifters here on Fakku? I know some of you guys should have at least one strong arm right?

I just started lifting for 3 months. I'm getting there. Are those in kg? Amazing. What's your weight and high. It would be crazy for a small man.

I am about 5"9 and currently 270 pound (guys take a break, ladies enjoy)
When I started lifting about 8 months ago, I was about 310 and could barely bench anything over 90 lbs. but for Nationals in May I plan on getting down to 240, a weight I haven't seen since my years in middle school!

I'm a powerlifter here too, though I've not been competing for the last ~2 years due to a lower back injury- also from powerlifting in a competition.
Those numbers seem pretty decent for 8 months in training (raw I'd imagine?). Keep it up!

When I last visited a gym in June last year..
Bench Press
1). One rep max 154~165
2). 10 reps range 143
Squats
- 10 reps range 176
I didn't do any lower back stuff back then due to ignorance, but now I've switched to an entirely progressive calisthenics based routine as it does wonders when combined with bboying. I have no idea how I'd perform now with weights but I imagine I'd do better than a year ago at least.

Oh, man. Keep it up. And keep us inform on how you do. I wish I could lift again. But my shoulder is fucked now.
