What do you look for in a girlfriend?

she has to be geeky. i guess, nerdy or geeky girls are the funnest, not because they are easy, but because they are not picky. like im a good dude, and lets just say if my personality and heart were my face, i would look like the god of pretty-ness. so they know how to appreciate good guys, and not put up with me if i do wrong stuff. i want a girl who is emotionally smart. where if i cheated, she would drop me like a rock. i like women who have smarts, and geeky/nerdy girls have that. but i dont care if she is a geek, i just want her to love me, and mean it.

Girlfriend or Dreamgirl?

Girlfriend:
I have to enjoy her company, and she has to enjoy mine as well. I don't try to find pay dirt at the first go, my thinking is, if I like being around her enough, I'll date her and maybe after knowing her at a deeper level, I might find out if she's the one.

Dreamgirl:
She has to have a certain cleverness to her, charm, a sharp wit used mostly (or solely) to tease me. A lack of naivety is plus, but I also don't want her to not have any innocence whatsoever, otherwise she'd be a pretty cold witch. We'd make snide remarks to each other and our conversations would be like really challenging and fun game. But stuff like that just gives greater contrast to the few peaceful and loving moments we share together.

Sarcasm aside....

I look for basically what I look for in a friend.

dependable, trustworthy, and someone I can have fun with.
That doesn't mean that's all I'm looking for.
Also Romantic and someone I can have a serious deep relationship for the rest of my life.

Of course looks matters too. "Don't judge a book by its covers" Can go to hell, the outside catches the attention.

I like people who I am comfortable with, not people who make me think "My god, she is so hot" every moment. I want someone who is trustworthy and intelligent, even if she doesn't have "book smarts." Also someone who can laugh at my subtle humor and cheer me up (And hope she feels the same about me).

well, I don't have a dream girl, and what I look for in a girlfriend is pretty much defined by the girl I have now

Someone who is cute and can be a bit pushy, hard-headed or even naggy sometimes. One whose smile is nice and enlightening. Someone who is easy to talk to and could laugh at my half-assed jokes (for some reason, people laugh when I make a serious joke) and can accept that I like Anime.... and, if ever possible, Hentai.

But most of all, she doesn't angry too long over some childish arguement.

I'd also have to agree, I'm not going to actually enjoy spending time with a girl who is a genius, unless it wasn't really her fault that she got put in that light. To my own experience, intelligence usually accompanies pride, so it would be hard to find a really humble, intelligent lady, so I won't even really appreciate intelligence, but more-likely, open-mindedness. I would require her to be open-minded, then that would solve a lot of problems immediately, as she would be receptive to my feelings as well. Of course I intend to reciprocate my feelings alongside with hers, so I won't accept a obedient slave who would be willing to do anything/everything for me(not in RL preference, anyways), so she would need a really nice personality to some degree, and my definition of 'nice' isn't exactly kindness, but nice as in, she has one and is willing to be herself, that's true brilliance, in my opinion.

Although my romantist side says that no matter how dumb they are, if they can acknowledge what 'love' really is, and is aboslutely determined to win me over, I would be incredibly vulnerable.

Well, I won't lie about this, as long the girl looks hot or cute to me, and I'm single at the moment, I'm going to walk over and talk to her.

That way I find out if she will piss me off or not.

I'm an introvert, and I primarily like introverted people. I would like to meet a girl that is pretty much shy, kind, loving, knowledgeable, and has similar interests to me; especially hockey. If a girl likes hockey and beer, it blows my fucking mind! As far as aesthetics, I'm not primarily concerned, as long as she's healthy. Pretty much smaller breasted, straight, long flowy hair, with a kind, sincere face.
