Hmm...it depends, but here's generally what I like to put in. (homemade as well as restaurants)
Rice (either Mexican or Brown)
Sour Cream (only a little)
Guacamole
Fajita veggies (bell peppers and onions)
Beans (mainly black, but sometimes refried)
Lettuce
Salsa (standard as well as corn)
Meat (though sometimes I don't put in meat, but when I do, usually chicken, steak, or carnitas)

That sounds so good right now!
I'm not a big fan of peppers though but the sour cream is a must have!

Do you make your own or order them from a restaurant?
Avocados sound good, I never have had them with my burritos but I would love to try just to have a new sense of how they play with the different ingredients with my burrito.
Thanks for sharing!

Both... Chicharones are expensive to make unless you have the pig. Boar fat isn't good.

If I make mine at home I just use what I have in the house.
When I order out I kind of get to add more things that I don't have myself.

I usually go for veggie burritos. Spanish brown rice, avocado, cheese, pinto beans, and chile verde sauce.

If I'm eating a burrito it's probably from a restaurant. But every now and then I make an really healthy veggie burrito. The secret ingredients are my home made chipoltle sauce and lemon pepper. I use red onion, bell peppers of two colors, and scallions wrapped in a buttery grilled tortilla.

Put salsa in that bad boy. Salsa or, generic Salsa Roja is good in everything form salads to generic tacos.

One way:
- ground beef with some sort of Mexican sauce mixed in I got in a packet at the grocery store
- pre-Mexican blended cheese
- large soft flower tortilla
- optional: diced onion
- optional: diced tomatoes
There is another burrito that I get from this one restaurant and I need to learn the recipe to. Basically has grilled white onions in it, diced steak, a sort of Mexican style sauce inside both the onions and meat are sautéed in. Soft flower tortilla and a slightly spicy white creamy Mexican cheese on top. It is absolutely heaven!

Your mexicans say 'dude that totally awesome man'? Ground beef in anything mexican outside of Albondigas(meatball soup) or in a pitch enchilada/5 layer casserole is heresy. If your doing fried burritos then sure. PRAISE TO THE GLORY OF SHREDDED BEEF/CARNE or swine.
