i love 4th gen because it had the best pokemon, black and white kinda disappoint me with the stuff they left out

My favorite generation is Sapphire/Ruby. I think out of all the games, it brought the most life, innovation, atmosphere, and game mechanics that gave the series the stride it has today. Pokemon with abilities, natures, and even mini individual animation loops. (introduced in Emerald) I also think that the geography of these games was the best, as half the world map is covered by ocean, which provides a great setting from the water VRS land debate the game is going for.

The elite four always pwn me.
I've only played leaf,emerald,and diamond.
I guess, emerald would be my fav since I really actually like Mudkip.
Blaziken is cool too.
I haven't played black or white yet, I hope too soon though.

I Grew Up With The Original Pokemon So I Would Say Red/Blue & Fire Red/Leaf Green Are My Favorites But I'm A HUGE Charmander & Charizard Fan So Maybe Thats Why I Love The Original A Liitle Bit More Then The Others Although I Will Say I Really Liked Generation 2-3 Because They Had Some Really Awesome Pokemon But Sorry Generation 4-5 Did Not Interest Me That Much The Pokemon Were Really Boring At Least To Me =(

I personally liked Pokemon Yellow but I got more addicted to the Pokemon Crystal and was immersed in it for more than 400 hours

The way the votes decrease through the generations really does sum up my view of pokemon as a whole.

This may sound nerdy, but I play Pokemon competitively and I love all 5 generations. Yeah... I'm a Pokemon junkie :P
