What is your favorite generation of Pokemon?

I don't think that preface was needed. Look at where we are.

This was a hard one for me because all the generations are cool :) I am playing White right now, but I say Gen 1 will always be the best :)

I remember the "missing number" pokemon bug in red and blue version.. it was fucking awesome..

Red/Blue. I had Yellow & had fun with it. Then I didn't play a single one for about a damn decade. Bought SoulSilver last spring. Wasn't bad. Although I'm sure I got it just to be a PokeWalkerFag.

where is yellow i played yellow :(

I started with Red and it's the only game of the series that I beat twice, first time with a pikachu from Viridian Forest that pretty much stomped the E4 by himself at level 70, and then again with a more varied team. After that once Yellow was released I played it almost as much as I did Red. Out of the second gen I only played Silver and never beat more than half the gym leaders to my recollection, even though I liked the additions to the game I was too attached to the first gen pokemon. Didn't play the third gen until years later on an emulator and again I never went farther than three or four gym leaders. Never picked up any of the fourth gen games or the remakes, but I am enjoying White so far even if some of the designs are getting worse with each generation... I especially hate the starters this time around, but nothing beats the original three.

The biggest thing that encouraged me to pick up a game from this generation is being able to trade over WiFi since the last time I had someone to trade Pokemon with face to face was elementary school with Red/Blue/Yellow lol. Already made my first trade tonight for a free freshly hatched female Sneasel with Ice Punch. The joys of wireless technology.

I would choose gold/silver. You get to fight "You" in gold/silver version how awesome is that!

Immensly hard question..

Truth is, I think there all great. So I was thinking.. Red and Blue is the most nostalgic, but then again with the least amount of pokemon and side options..

And black and white has the most + it works better then any previous and you've got triple battles and such.. Because of all those stuff I just chose the fifth generation.

Well, my actual favorite was Leaf Green version, althought it wasn't in this list, I wonder why... :(

Gold/Silver where the best because you could do both the Johto League, and the original Kanto League, also your favorite pokemon from Blue/Red could be transfered to Gold/Silver. *Pokemon brings back such nostalgia.*

I say Black/White, i just recently started with it but i've been watching alot of WIFI battles before that :P , though the reason i like B/W so much is 'coz there are more pokes altogether now :D i just luv to be able to choose from so many.
