What is your favorite old school gaming console?

For me it's all about the Super Nintendo and Playstation 1. There are just so many amazing titles that are still fun to play today. Earthbound being one of my all time favorites Super Nintendo games.

What are your favorite games on your favorite old school gaming console?

Nintendo... Ahh 1986... how do i miss ya.

Had a hard time choosing.
Was doubting between Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Gameboy.
But I've played so much nintendo and super nintendo as virtual console on NGC, Wii and 3DS that I chose Gameboy.
Picking up that gameboy fills me with nostalgia.

So Gameboy it is.

I still remember that tiny little screen with 8 bit sounds(or was it 16 bit?) and pixel graphics.

Sega Genesis - because it was the only one I had at them time.
Not complaining though, get to play sonic as a child - in all the Green Hill glory.

I only have one thing to say.

When i was kid my first console was a Super Nintendo, even that i had gameboy, nintendo 64, ps2, xbox 360, wii and ps3 after the first one, i stayed playing with it till it broke and so it remain in my house waiting that for some day i can fix it, is a treasure for me cuz is the only thing that make me think of my child life besides of the Valentines days.

Super Nintendo all up in this bitch.

I was a Genesis kid. It was my only console until the N64 so I played it quite a bit.

Super Nintendo for me, all those games
are quite something for the time they were released (Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past)

super nintendo plus earthbound. i still bust these two out every now and then

Playstation (if it wasn't on the list I would've voted SNES).

I got my first PS while I was in 6th grade. It was my first transition from 2D to 3D gaming, hoooo boy, I remember the good ol' days playing Tekken 2. Though it's half damaged, I still run it for those arcade games. Nothing beats playing versus mode with dualshocks. I didn't upgrade to any other consoles since I have a gaming pc, and a psp and NDS to boot.. ~_^

I have almost all the systems in this list, but the one that I like the most is the SNES.

Of course, I have to blow on the cartridge and do a ceremonial dance to the Goddess Of Gaming in order to make it work, but its worth it in order to play my Final Fantasy II(IV) and Killer Instinct!
