[Locked] Whats up with fakku

So i've been using using fakku for a couple years now and is it just me or have they turned money grubber? the fakku books are perfectly normal but this new subscription BS wtf, if things keep going they way they are Fakku is gonna turn into a completely pay to view site, i;m finding myself on Hentai2Read a lot more than Fakku now'a days :/

If you have a job and you pay your own bills you should be able to understand what's going on. The people drawing the hentai we enjoy have to put food on the table just like we do. Every time you read a hentai manga and don't give anything back, you're disrespecting the person who made it whether you're aware of it or not. Yes, of course we could probably just keep on being pirates. There will always be pirates. Other hentai hosts will continue to exist. FAKKU wants to be more than that.

Why does every leeching nobody feel the need to make topics like this as if anyone cares or knows who they are? If a mod or someone with 5000 posts made a topic it would garner some attention (although still be dismissed) but when a dozen random scrubs that nobody has ever talked to makes the site changes about their dreams being destroyed and fascism taking over it;s just fucking retarded.

Artists have to feed themselves and pay bills, unfortunately most of us don't leech off our parents and have to work to earn money. Fakku is trying to support the people who slave away during their lives so you can have a nice wank

If you think of it as a needless expenditure then why complain about it. If It's so dismissive for you then just dismiss it.

I tried to explain that this isn't about you (or FAKKU for that matter) and you came back and made it about you again. You asked for an explanation of why this is happening and I gave you one. It's not about you, it's not about us. The entire point is that we as consumers and FAKKU only make up one side of the equation, and that we've been ignoring that fact for a decade. If you decide that you don't like that, you can continue being a pirate. There are hundreds of alternate sites you can use. Scanlators are going to continue scanning. People are even re-uploading FAKKU's localizations elsewhere, they're not hard to find. I honestly don't care what you choose.

What bothers me is that these threads keep popping up and people keep shouting the same nonsense because they're not getting what they want, exactly how they want it. And you know what, I'm sorry but that's just not happening.

We pay for food, we pay for internet, we pay for transportation, we pay for video games, we pay for movies. And yet people look at us like we're crazy when we tell them that we ought to pay for our porn too. I legitimately don't understand that.
