Pity the United Kingdom's Upload is a pile of crap I'd gladly trade roughly half my download speed to have it even with my upload speed, not to mention I'm paying out like £35 for the whole tv, internet and phone line.

That's only in certain computer labs though. In dorms it's usually throttled to around ~5Mbps.
I should hope it's throttled down to that level. 90 mb/s would eat bandwidth!

I'd be more interested to know what your bandwidth cap is, assuming you even have one. I've always heard that many UK cable providers have ridiculously stringent monthly bandwidth caps.
The way I see it, what is the point of having a high download, or upload speed for the matter, if you don't have the bandwidth to take advantage of it.
