Upload will suck if you're using ADSL.
Though being on a cabled network will enable you to get the most out of your connection.

Until about a year ago our apartment company had monopoly on what isp we could choose, so our only option was their daughter company. While the speed was pretty okay they had a limit on how much data you could receive/send. However you could buy an extra 24gb/month for about 15usd, my internet bills used to be around 50usd back then and I'd always think twice about downloading something. And now i got a ten times better connection for half of what used to pay, with unlimited downloads, so can't complain i guess:P

Good DL rates but horrible UL rates... And I like to make some videos from random games and such to show them to friends / contacts of mine.
Seems the high DL / Low UL is common where I live at.
