I've posted in the thread before, but I recently got upgraded to the best internet you can get around here; for free no less. Comcast called me up, said come get this new modem, and you can have better internet speeds. Not too shabby considering it's the same cost as it was before, but for a good 15 Mb/s more down than I was getting.

New internet connection which is 6 times faster than the last one I had(It's still slow but at least it's something :P

Still crap but equal to the national average, On a good day if i reset the port at the exchange can get 2.75-4Mb/s for a few hours... Hurry up and build the NBN already so we can use providers other than Telstra (Stupidly expensive) for Cable/Fiber to the Node connections.
At least I get un-metered Steam, Tivo, Sourceforge and internet radio :-)

errmmm...speedtest took a herp a derp dump, either that or the fact that my computer is hooked to an actual server node for speedtest.net is having an impact....
Kudos to those who figure out how I got this result though =P
