I can't vote because like others it doesn't matter as long as the plot is watchable, have yet to find one I didn't like.

I think most of my favorite characters across different series are in that 23-30 year range. I think it's an underrepresented age group as most series tend to pull focus to the hotblooded teenagers and/or the wisdom of elders. The 23-30 group tend to be characters that are more grounded in reality and the world but haven't lost all the fire of their youth yet and I can appreciate that.
Of course pretty much any character from any age group can be great.

I'm not really picky with the ages of girls in anime. The younger girls are so adorable, and the older girls have an air of sophistication that most men can't match nowadays. However, the 17-22 age group is my favorite for anime girls, from barely legal to just legal. It's better because I can easily ogle girls that age range without feeling too guilty for ogling a younger girl, or feeling too weird for ogling an older woman.

I prefer 5-16 year old. Especially Anime that target children as an audience. A classic favorite Doraemon ^^ After all I never really had a childhood.

Age group.... I'd prefer it if the cast has a spread variety of ages. Seeing as I like Fantasy genre the usual age group and range from a few hundred to thousands >.>

Well, as long as the anime has a good plot.. its all good. But then again, I would prefer a series with the same age references close to mine.
