Technically what I prefer is ages 17-30. But to me its not the age group, its the deep and developing story, character development, and plot; (please no "Plot" jokes, seriously its old and dry like a raisin).

i think 17-22 is a good age.. that's is your prime age i think.. most anime nowadays their age is always starting from 13-16 or below 13 i mean cmon.. can we make a little more close to reality...where you're old enough to face the world.. but like others said.. i doesn't matter as long is a good plot...
