For me, my choice depends on what game I'll be playing
for instance, I prefer shooting ones at the PC
while Hack and slashes at PS3
.. Something like that

PC for me, simply because most older games can be emulated flawlessly on a PC, and most modern games are released on the PC.
It's also the most versatile, and cheapest when factoring in online fees and overall price. It's very possible to build a PC of equal power to that of a 360 for about the same price, and then you never have to worry about Xbox live fees.
I'm also more comfortable using a keyboard and mouse to game.

Both! Nearly everything has a game on it that I want to play. That I want to experience. Whether it's a console or PC does not matter and does not make a difference. The only two genres of games I find with a clear advantage on PC over console are First Person Shooters, and Real Time Strategy.
I did vote PC because I love to build my own and I enjoy the openness of the hardware and software that's available.
Though, when is someone going to make a mouse and keyboard with vibration in them like a console controller(yeah, it seems absolutely ridiculous)? I mean, that's the one thing you don't get when you play your game on a PC with mouse and keyboard.

PC all the way, I'm not saying this because I don't have any game consoles but I prefer the variety and flexibility of games available...
plus some of them are more comfortable to play in PCs, take RTS for example... I can't image trying to command an army using a controller

There are a couple of reasons for me to choose PC over Console.
One, Only Japanese Consoles can play H-Games (or is it? I don't know because I do not own a console but I think so). With a PC, you can play any H-Game by downloading the Japanese Language Pack, Changing the Region Settings and Reaching the required specifications *Which aren't really that high nowadays*.
Two, I don't have the money to buy a Console.
Three, I already have a PC with good specs.
Four, It takes a year or two or three or more for a good PC to be fully replaced.
Five, Consoles cannot tweak their settings for Better performance or quality, with a PC you can do that.
Six, Console Online Gaming = Match making. PC Online Gaming = Dedicated Servers.
Seven, Consoles cannot be upgraded. (Remember? Play Station One - Two - Three?) You have to buy a certain console and you cannot upgrade any components of it. With a PC, replacing a certain component won't require you to replace all. (Yay I got a new monitor! *Throws Old Monitor* >.>)
Eight, There are benchmarking communities to show off your Computer Rigs! (Haha sucks for Consoles they can't show off a better version of theirs due to the fact that a certain console like an XBox 360 is only an XBox 360 with a different model but still an XBox 360 that can play the same game! Hey look, I got an XBox 360 it's alot cleaner than your XBox 360! Hah! I has a XBox 360 Pro which is better than your XBox 360 Premium! But still they are both Xbox 360's and can play the same game.. >.>)
Nine, Without the PC there is no Youtube, Fakku.net and internet.
Ten, Who says there isn't a portable version of the PC? Go get a Laptop. (I think a Laptop is still a PC because PC stands for *Personal Computer* and a Laptop is a computer therefore it is still a PC.)
Eleven, PC's have better graphics than consoles due to the fact that PC's can have their graphics card upgraded and that consoles have a limit to their internal graphics resolution which cannot be so high.

PC!
Reason:
1. We have 'emulator' for most of the consoles!
2. I rarely play other game than Visual-Novel type, and most of them is in PC
3. I don't have the money to buy new console(s)... I only have GBA, GBC, and a broken PSX in my home

Consoles, though I recently found drivers for PS3 and 360 controllers on my PC, so I've started using my PC more than I used to. Plus, PCs have Touhou. Being able to buy games on Steam is also increasing my PC usage.

console. PC's have better graphics and the like but frankly idk how to make my computer "strong". I wanna play crysis too. hmph

i'd go for pc, the only thing that sucks is that you have to replace the pc completely after so many years cuz the system can't run the newest games...it sucks...harder than a whore on a fridaynight

PC's all the way. Faster, Prettier, Multi-functional, you can put your own hardware in it ( why is that a prob? consoles are outdated after a year and you cant change the inner parts.. ), better steering, ( how the hell can people play a proper FPS or RTS on a console..), i dont mind cracks or viruses, you just have to know how to handle them. I dislike the "im lazy or im a kid with IQ of 50 and i can't put install a game on the pc-routine" Tsk, get yourself some brains if thats the main reason!
Although i also like consoles, but only because they have nice games i can't play on the PC. It's all about the GAMES! More more more! I just love stories...

It's funny how people say that PC is better because you can upgrade it, and console cant. It's not about the console that can't be upgraded, it's about the console that dont need to be upgraded. Developers just tweak and sniff and puff the newest games that much that it even looks so darn stunning on the "outdated console".
I bet a lot of you console gamers know what I'm talking about if Square Enix yet again makes a beautiful FF game, and think "Wow, that they can make this happening on my PS3/XBOX360". If you compare the games that came out with the console launch, and the ones who are coming out at the end of it's cycle, you will darn sure see the difference.
