uhmm . . when it comes to a protected life like me i'd prefer a Console, when I'm have these Hentai hehehe games! I can easily hide it and have a good memory backup, not likewise a PC i don't think I can hide somethin' from that especially when parents are good at it!!! I can play safe from my parents. Why can you not just use a memory stick in the PC too? Your argument seems flawed

PC. Love consoles, but all the things the PC gaves you, it's far superior. In a console, you're limited to it's particular games (I know it's pretty obvious), in your PC, you can play an incredibly amounts of games (from the actual generation, to the first one), from lots of consoles even if you can emulate them.
And you even can lower the specs of a game that is aimed for a superior system, and still be able to play it. PC have viruses, point granted, but that is true pretty much only if you use a Windows system, using a Linux o similar OS, the viruses menace fall to practically 0. With the consoles, to play each generation of games, you need the specific of that gen, except with the ones that have some retro-compatibility (which not all have, and the ones with have it doesn't support ALL the previous generations). Without mention that no console can really surpass a computer of the same generation in performance, graphics or sound department (although, since the PC can do LOTS of others things, the prize is usually superior too :P).
Of course that consoles does have it's virtues, as I said, I love them. But the PC is a superior and special kind of animal IMHO. :)
Yep, plus PC doesn't die in 5-10 years like a console (or get many restrictions), they actually get renovated; in addition to DIY fixing without breaking the warranty or sending it to a far away company.

In this case I was not referring to Sonys overpriced crap, but rather to anything with a usb interface and a memory chip. But I see how it could be misunderstood. :)

2 terrabyte of hardrive space and 1 terrabyte external hardrive is a bit overkill right?

I'm for PC but always, but i would like some more people to build emulators because there are games like Takken,Heavenly Sword and etc. that i want to try. There are really small number of H&S games for PC.If someone knows some emulator links please sent them to my mail lancelot992@gmail.com THX :)And also like guy above i can't download hentai from consoles...
yeah emulator depend more on the CPUs...., heard that the ps 3 used 8 cores cpu dunno what kinduv , and for the vga just nvidia 6800 series equal performance ,...
wrong, it has ppe core and 7 spe wich arent even cores they are hard to program and cant be flexible 1of them is always busy with OS and another one is shutdown, a dual core out performes it, and you also got the gpu wrong it is a 7800,
PC strength is not important i have Dual Core 2.4 intel 4GB RAM 8800GTS 512 ram graphic card and i will improve it at the end of this year i just cant find links to download emulators.
well sice you showed your specs, might as well show mine ^^.
i7 2,66GHz overclocked to 3,6GHz, 6GB of ram ddr3 at 1,6GHz, gtx375 1,7GB of ram, and its awsome... but i hate vista so mucht i want to burn it sometimes especially when im deleting stuff from my backup harddrive, or when im searching for stuff 2 terrabytes of hardrive space is a allot of space to search trough ><, emulators are hard to find sometimes, i dont use emulators becuase meh al the games i want re on the pc and ds? so all i do is download the games(piracy if thats the case.)
your pc is mid end and it should run any game in medium to high right?.
as for consoles i hated it since 3 rrod i got and i havent looked back
GTX 295 :) 1,792Vram ~ 2 275 GPUS , vista .... you should change to win 7 :x much better performance
agree i use it too btw nice pc config

consoles allow me to play on a bigger CRT screen, uses less power and allows me to play while maintaining a farther distance from the screen; However, what I can do on consoles are limited so I still prefer a PC which allows me to multitask, far more responsive, more games and is far more convenient.

O_O there is just soo much wrong with basically ever argument in your post.
1. "console allow you to play on bigger screen"
How? There is no limit, in any way, to what screen size a PC (or console) support. With regard to the resolution, then you can probably get the top graphics card for your pc for less that what a console cost.
2. Consoles uses less power.
Consoles are know for blatantly disregarding what you would call reasonable standby power consumption, something you can easily fix in a PC. While playing then the power consumption usually is proportional to the quality of the output to the screen..
3. "allows me to play while maintaining a farther distance from the screen"
Wireless controllers also works for a PC, and there is allot more options to choose from.
4. "I still prefer a PC which allows me to multitask"
On some of the newer consoles, like Xbox, you can install a custom OS and thereby also do more than gaming, and thus multitask.
5. PCs are far more responsive,
Given a PC and a console from the same "era" then the console is usually at least as responsive as you gaming PC, if not more when it is initially released.
6. PCs have more games.
Some kind of source to back this up... I would guess that it is pretty equal.
but besides that, then I do agree that PCs are very convenient

6 is right more games, all games in history of pc can still be played on the pc

As far as can still be played, then assuming you don't actually have a fifteen year old pc with win 95/98, I present to you the challenge of actually installing an original windows game from that era.
All I can say is good luck :)
