Console for me, only because I was brought up on them plus all my favorite RPGs are on console, that and my computers to crappy to play anything lol.

Console games are fun but they only go so far. Once you beat an rpg or w/e game on the console its pretty much over. Even if it can be played online and with other people, controls are hard to handle and its near almost impossible to communicate if headsets aren't aloud.
Which is why PC will and be forever the best way to play a game for me.
Games i play are TEAM FORTRESS 2, LEAD 4 DEAD 2, MODERN WARFARE 2 (notice all the 2's) and we can't forget all the DAM HENTAI AND VISUAL NOVELS!!!!!!
Not to mention the upcoming games - STARCRAFT II! DIABLO III! FINAL FANTASY XIV! STARWARS THE NEW MMO!!!

PC for me, because I prefer to clicking mouse and keyboard than joystick and because PC games have better graphics than console...

for those that are saying that computers get viruses get a mac.
Computers r much better than consoles! why?.
*no monthly subscription for online unlike xbox360(gotta have internet)
*a little bit cheaper than a console games
*less cheaper overall cus when you buy a pc u can also do more than a console.like doing some homework using ms word or drawing some pictures from it.
*computer last longer than a console even with the self-proclaim 10yr sony guarantee just clean up your computer every year.
*btw the new computers nowadays r touchscreen can your console can be touch(lol!)

Oh noes, PC is winning!
well, no surprise there, the most versatile thing always win. people always like it if they can get more out of something. Plus a PC is more social.
But I wonder how it would fair if "Which type of gaming would you prefer, PC or Console?" was asked instead.

PC; can play with so many more people via internet. You can argue for wii live and xbox live and all, but far less people own a console than a PC. It's also far less expensive to do so as well. Hell; half the console game that exist can be played via emulators. I can't even play a gameboy game anymore on the gameboy because I can't speed it up by hitting spacebar >.<
Not to say console is totally bad. Easier to game with a group of friends with a console than a PC. Multiplayer is certainly more fun with friends right next to you. Console's best advantage is the screen size. You want to play a FPS on a 19" screen or a 57" big screen TV? Choice to me is obvious.
In the end, the benefits of PC outweigh the benefits of console gaming, especially when gaming solo.

console, for the simple fact that my PC is old and it can't handle the new games, but i do think that many PC virgins of console games a better

I say console. if we are going to talk about gaming then its really console. yeah, i know pc is more useful but, if you have a good console, you dont have to worry about specs

Pc. There is just simply more that you can do with it. Also im more the FPS Gamer and those games are way better with keyboard and mouse than with a controler. But games like Prototype or inFamous are better on a console.
But the important part is that you can get mods and DLC and dont have to pay for playing on the internet like on the xbox.
