are you shitting me? The creepy build-up to her breaking point was the only thing remotely interesting about her. Kaede without her yandere attributes is just a boring and disturbingly dedicated Yamato-nadeshiko (in fact, I think the anime turned her yandere because she was just that in the original game).



as I said before, a lot of yandere I've seen actually wouldn't consider killing you, though I guess it sucks for all the people around you. However, if you play your cards just right, the yandere could prove so faithfully devoted to you that she'd easily go along with the suggestion of a threesome, even a harem (as a matter of fact, the School Days game had a couple threesome endings). If anything, tsundere are the ones who won't let you so much as look at another woman again after you start going out. If you do, their jealousy meter surpasses 9000 and they immediately click back into their initial bitch mode.

Though may I remind you, as I said in my previous post, this really depends on a dere by dere basis. Again, I acknowledge that some yandere really are as dangerous to the lover as the majority makes them out to be, and some tsundere are awesome and not quite so bitchy as others. My overall preference for the yandere mostly comes down to majority portrayal, which is actually contrary to such examples.

BTW, to the person who says that Kotonoha killed Makoto, it was actually Sekai, the TSUNDERE, that did him in. Kotonoha only lopped his head off to carry around after finding his blood-soaked corpse before ultimately taking out his killer (which actually sounds like a pretty sweet, albeit gruesome, revenge story ^^). Also, the original game had three bad endings, one of which involved Sekai, two of which involved Kotonoha. In Sekai's only bad ending, she kills Makoto. In Kotonoha's bad endings, she kills herself or Sekai, never Makoto (albeit, she did intentionally scar him in the suicide ending). Again, considering the only one killing Makoto is the tsundere, that's really something to think about.

Kaede seems to be getting a lot of flak, but she was, arguably, the only good thing about the Shuffle anime. She was creepy, intense, deep, and insanely erotic. One must also remember that yanderes are fully within the category of 'moe', even if their innocence is of the dangerous variety.

The numbers sit at about 75% tsundere and 25% yandere, which is really to be expected, given that insanity isn't everyone's favorite spice. Just remember that while the most extreme yandere types might kidnap you and/or kill your friends, the most extreme tsunderes will beat and/or kill you simply because you make them uncomfortable. See Horsewhip: The Anime, and Sekirei respectively for examples.

On another note, why not just have both?

Well, besides the obvious ones like Shuffle, Rosario+Vampire, and School Days...

I have to say Tsundere, I have dated a Yandere girl before and it ends in fail. She was too clingy a frightened to feel unloved that she couldnt see how loved she actually was, and then she found someone else who she started same thing on. I wait for when the cataclimic fail reaches them. Just to point and laugh.

Though the Tsundere's that I have been around who liked me are more mmusing and fun. Watching them fidget is also fun. 8D
