Which Do You Prefer? Part 2
Which Do You Prefer? Part 2

I prefer Yandere. There are simply too many Tsunderes around that it lost its unique characteristic. After awhile, one Tsundere started to look and act like another. On the other hand, Yandere is something new and because it is new, many people define it wrong.
I kinda smile when I read comments like Yandere are psycho who could make you wind up in a body bag or a clingy GF consistently having mental breakdowns over every little thing. Most of the comments are quite true ONLY when you betray their truth or had done somethings that made them question your love. Like looking at another girl too long in front of them, maybe. But almost always, they think of your well-being before everything else.
Gotta agree with kyomarou in the saying of "Boys date tsundere types, but real men marry yandere."
It's quite simple to make a Tsunderes GF to stop hitting you by being fast enough to dodge or block their attacks and strong enough to restrict them before doing your things: talk your way out of troubles, kiss her until she forget the problems. Smile, Smirk, Laugh foolishly Whatever as long as you proclaim your love for them before she start to mellow down and blush.
On the other hand, it take a great deal of wits, fast thinking and sweet yet powerful talking, maybe some serious discipline *bondage, anyone?* to stop a Yandere from going crazy on you and everyone else.

Tundere.
They're way more cute when they're mad ...and besides if by some reason you make a yandere mad she probably try to chop your head off. All thou that makes it more exiting.

So, you like the tundra? :D Jk, I know what you mean.
Thing is, not all yandere will just turn your freshly decapitated head into a basketball (see last post), it's just that they have a greater tendency to get violent (to the point of killing you if rage is uncontrolled). I look at it from this perspective: in anime, yandere are fukken scary and crazy (a.k.a. romantic relationship shinigami). Whereas, with tsundere, they can be cute when they get mad and say some derivative of the cliché line "i-it's not like I like you or anything" while the blushing gives their little lie away, of course, some can be downright biznatches. Try as they may, whether it's kicking the male protagonist in the crotch for socializing with another girl, or eventually "gets rid of the obstacle," they still love them.
From a real life standpoint, tsundere are a lot easier to handle. As long as their overall personality is good and their love for you is still true, the lack of forwardness of her feelings in certain situs doesn't matter much. But, yandere is a lot more complex than anime let's on. Let's take it from the Wedding Crashers' perspective of the "Class 2 Clinger" (I know, lame example, but it's the one I chose to illustrate my point). These women can be considered yandere, but the violent mood swings are not all that prevalent. The worst you may get is stalking; they still love you, but their creepily possessive. The levels after that is where you can get into trouble: even more stalking, violence towards you starts for maybe the littlest thing, (possible) disappearance of female acquaintances that are seen as "competition" (or certain parts of the male anatomy), (possible) forced imprisonment to "keep you all to herself," and even increased risk of death. Ironically, yandere do this in anime as well. (^_^')
Again, it's a personal preference (I choose tsundere overall), and Captain Obvious says "pick what's best for you."

Yanderes kill people, and that's hawt and all, but not when it's you that they kill. So Tsundere because they are less dangerous.

Ill go with yandere, there's something about them that I cant pass up. Although there a many nice tsundere characters, e.g
Hinagiku from Hayate no Gotoku
Alice from Pandora Hearts
Senjogahara from Bakemonogatari (although i like her yandere tendencies more)
there are also much more annoying tsundere's (won't any cause I dont want to be hated)
Yandere types a rarer, and they never seem annoying.
Lucy form Elfen Lied
Senjogahara from Bakemonogatari (I classify her as both, but being yandere is what makes her intresting)

I'd have to go with Yandere. Tsundere seems way to common...I hardly ever see Yandere characters...also...most of the Tsunderes I've seen were quite Loli. For example, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, and Nagi from Hayate no Gotoku, just to name a few.

Err.. i think the reason why Tsundere is so popular is because of the fact that it's so enticing to see a person in denial of his/her attraction to another person. Humans like teasing and most are particularly interested on a funny and adventurous life by the side of a tsundere.
While a yandere on the other hand is eeriely creepy because it's like forced love and sometimes..the actions of a yandere are repetitive and almost robotic...

hmmmmmmm difficult to chose but ill have to go with tsundere over yandere since girls who are extremly attached tend to get annoying faster then tsunderes

Yanderes because Tsunderes are always Lolis and the one thing I hate most is a woman with an underdeveloped body. Besides I don't mind girls who love me to the point they go nuts

i do prefer tsundre, because i just watch school day, and in the end is very ironic, i even close my eye, because i afraid to watch the last episode
