if some girl you barely know just starts suddenly clinging to you (which WILL happen if you're a harem protagonist), who the hell do you think deserves the blame? Given, yandere might be a tad extreme about it, but most the ones I've seen DO tend to give a fair warning or two to stay away from their man before the slaughter begins.
