I'd suggest you watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya if watching it in broadcast order doesn't bother you because you"ll have to look for diff episodes not chronologically. If that's too much for you settle for less with Zero No Tsukaima, it's actually good but the focus on different characters may annoy you. :P
