It should have stayed that way. The Attidue Era was the only time were I really cared about the characters. (Probably also due to the fact that I was a kid).
Now we have people like John Cena respecting the hell out of everyone no matter how much the heels try to kill him.

Yes too many memorable characters. Legends such as Stone Cold, The Rock who's no longer in the ring now.
One thing though many I think people respect now for Cena is his strength, though I still get annoyed with his "You Can't See Me." fist drop, takes longer than the Rock to perform it. Man how I wish Stone Cold and the Rock would come back to the WWE in the ring for a fight one more time.

WWE Survivor Series Predictions:

Fancy theme again! Anyways, it's time for the last of the Big Four PPVs this year, good ol' Survivor Series. Yes, the last few events have sucked complete ass, and it kinda hurts to see how much this event has fallen from greatness. Still, that doesn't take away any of my enthusiasm when November rolls around every year.
This year's Survivor Series looks like a great card on paper. There's not a bad match there, (yes, even the divas should be somewhat decent). Here I am hoping for the best.
Matches:
Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match: Team Mickie vs. Team Michelle

Okay, let's see. Team Michelle includes Michelle McCool (the Women's Champion), and Beth Phoenix, who looks like it's going back to her dominant ways, which pretty much means their not losing this match.
Winner: Team Michelle (Survivors: Michelle McCool & Beth Phoenix)
Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match: Team Morrison vs. Team Miz

Am I the only one that think that Team Morrison is full of jobbers? Seriously, besides Morrison, most of the guys in that team lose more matches than they win. Anyways, jobbers or not, I see Morrison winning here. Sheamus is probably gonna get disqualified (in order to protect him), and I see Swagger and Miz costing each other the match. Morrison also gets his win back from Bragging Rights.
Winners: Team Morrison (Survivors: John Morrison)
Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match: Team Kingston vs. Team Orton

First let me just say the Kofi Kingston is my current favorite right now. Did anyone really expect him to be feuding and leading a SS team against Randy freaking Orton? Me neither. Also, I am the only one who finds it weird to see CM Punk teaming up with Legacy and Regal? 3-month rule strikes again!
I predict Orton's team winning just for the single fact that Randy Orton almost never loses this types of matches. Also, Kofi got the upper hand last Raw which means there's a high change he's losing here. If given the proper time, I see this becoming the match of the night.
Winners: Team Orton (Survivors: Randy Orton)
Singles Match: Batista vs. Rey Mysterio

See, heel turns DO solve everything. I've haven't been this interested about Batista ever since he power bomb Triple H though that table (then he turned face and pretty everything about him turned to crap). I see him completely murdering Rey Mysterio in order to establish him as a ruthless heel once again.
Winner: Batista
WWE Championship Triple Threat Match: John Cena (c) vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels

Yes, Triple H vs Cena... again! On the other hand, the addition of HBK to the match is a fresh breath of air. Unlike some people, I really don't see one member of DX turning heel in this match. Seeds are probably gonna be planted but other than that, we won't see much. John Cena retains because he's John Cena and because the WWE probably wants to give him a lengthy title reign after all the short ones he has had this year.
Winner: John Cena
World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match: The Undertaker (c) vs. The Big Show vs. Chris Jericho

I fear that Undertaker is easily taken this one. Big Show is from Raw which pretty much means he's not winning the championship. This eventually lead us to Taker vs. Jericho with Taker retaining the title. See, if Jericho wins the title, who is he supposed to feud with after this? Undertaker and then who? There aren't any credible faces on SD left besides Rey (and he's already stuck in a feud).
Still, I really want Jericho to win here because he's truly the best in the world at what he does. Seriously, the man has been awesome this entire year. Jericho winning the title would be the perfect token to signify that. It also helps that he's a lot more versatile than Taker and is not a liability in the ring right now. Also, the next PPV is a TLC match. Does anyone really see Taker competing in that in his current state?
I see a repeat from 2007 happening here. Taker and Show fight each other though the match, Show KOs Taker and then Jericho comes and turns on his partner by using a chair or something. Jericho wins, Taker doesn't get pinned and everyone* is happy at the end.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Hell yeah! Huge win for him at Survivor Series! I loved it.
The other Survivor Series match made me sad 'cause Whitey and Drew McRapeFace were left standing in the end. I hate those two and this is a push for them. That's bad, m'kay.
The WWE Championship match ended with Cena getting a clean win, which sucked! I was hoping when Shawn Sweet Chinned H and he fell on Cena, it would give off a nice controversial ending so as to set-up the next PPV. But alas, John Golden Boy Cena had to fucking win. Again.
What's the point of splitting up DX if neither one was gonna win? Or are they not gonna be split up yet? I don't get it.
The WH Title match was a given for Undertaker to win. All I can say for that.
Same for Batista vs. Rey. And wow, that beating Batista gave Rey was a pretty... pretty tame way to "destroy" someone actually. Snore~
Next PPV is all TLC title matches. Probably gonna suck just like Hell in a Cell.
Themed PPVs don't seem to work. At least not for me. Although I've enjoyed having Elimination Chambers at No Way Out for the past two years. For some reason, those do work for me. Go figure.

Pretty astute ones, I daresay. Except Morrison, probably WWE's trying to build another egotistical heel like The Miz. The more annoying and obnoxious he becomes on cam, all the better. It's his job to be hated, anyway.
Anyway, Rey's off TV probably... could be nursing an injury, but that's just my opinion. He wasn't energetic on his entrance as usual. Do WWE really want to push Batista as another ruthless heel? We'll see how this plays out especially with 'Taker. God I'd love to see another Last Man Standing match between these two.
Also, it's obvious 'Taker will win. Why would WWE split JeriShow for now when the fans are paying to boo on them?
Will DX split? We'll see on this Monday's Raw.
And also, Kofi Kingston is getting a major push. The prop's no other than Orton, which makes it a good plausible feud. I wish he continues to get the pops - the fans are starting to really love this kid.
The next TLC PPV... I'd like to see another tag-team triple threat TLC match, like the ones back in the old days with Dudleys/Hardys/E&C. I love their matches on TLC.

I can't stand Drew McIntyre because he's boring as hell. Why the hell is he getting a push over more exciting talents is beyond me.

Yeah. I also didn't help that Batista got a face reaction after destroying Rey.

I hate theme PPVs too. They probably don't work because a feud is not ready for them. It also completely destroys old-school booking (see Punk/Taker at Breaking Point). It also completely kills the mystique of gimmick matches.
Although I've enjoyed having Elimination Chambers at No Way Out for the past two years. For some reason, those do work for me. Go figure.
Probably because the Elimination Chamber only takes place once a year at the same event just like the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank. It also helps that the match itself doesn't rely on feuds that much.

It also helps that this push came out of nowhere. Seriously, did anyone expect happy Kofi Kingston to be feuding with the former WWE Champion? I though he was going to be nothing more than an perennial midcarder when Edge attacked and took him out at No Way Out. Glad I was wrong.
Also, Christian had a great performance yesterday. He eliminated both members of Legacy and almost pinned Orton. I see great things happening to him in the future (hopefully Royal Rumble winner).

OK, so this week's Monday Night Raw was pretty interesting - good follow-up on a PPV.
- Jesse Ventura's the guest host. Nice.
- Between plugging his show (it's a given for a celebrity host to PLUG something) and doing his stuff, he did something nice for the TV-watching fans - go back retro! He and Vince went back old-school to be an announce team for one match only. That was nice, especially Ventura as the aggressive color commentator and Vince the play-by-play man, it was good enough, given I'm so fucking tired of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler. God I miss JBL on the mic.
- John Cena vs CM Punk. Very nice match. I can see a future feud between these two if they get on the same brand.
- The "Breakthrough" battle royal served as the "two birds with one stone" match - one, intensify the feud between Orton and Kofi by making Kofi eliminate Orton, and two, get Cena a "temporary" feud since all the main guys are busy doing other stuff. Seriously, Sheamus? See "Cena vs Umaga" results. Will be the same again, I guess.
- The Divas match was the lulz - not only the Indian side got Tatanka's music, they featured a diva dressed as Hector... er, the Gobbledygooker.
- I see. The next feud for Batista is Kane. Guess the title's up for grabs between 'Taker and somebody else. Maybe CM Punk? Great.
- Wow. The crowd gave it to Cena since Jesse Ventura said something right. Audible "Cena sucks" go there.
- Oh well, three weeks of Cena and Sheamus. A long three weeks.
@Azuran - I hope so. Either Christian wins the Royal Rumble, or he gets MITB at WM26. Either one would be great. Oh, also. CM Punk's the best heel on SD right now, so for while Edge is out, hopefully WWE gives a lengthy feud between Punk and Taker, possibly a match at WM26 as culmination.

SHEAMUS? Seriously, fucking Sheamus gets a WWE championship match over other more deserving people? Horrible.
I'm not against pushing new talent but this is ridiculous. Sheamus doesn't deserve this at all. He's not over, that fans don't give a damn about him and he hasn't had a proper mid-card feud. And yet, he's getting a title shot when people who are over and have payed their dues like Christian, MVP, Mark Henry or Matt Hardy haven't. His character is not even fully developed yet. No matter what the WWE does the next two weeks, NOBODY is gonna buy him a a serious threat to John Cena. This is worse than Holly/Lesnar at the 2004 Royal Rumble.
if Drew McIntyre gets the same treatment on Smackdown, I swear I'll stop watching wrestling forever.

I was gonna rip Sheamus, but I see that was taken care of. I'll just add that I hate his whiteness and his lack of having done ANYTHING!
And it's a tables match they're having nonetheless. Table matches are BOOORING. The only good table match I ever saw was the Hardy Boyz vs the Dudley Boys at Royal Rumble 2000. That was fucking AWESOME!
DX vs Jeri-Show TLC match: awesome. Well, I would have said that until I remembered Show can't climb one rung of a ladder without taking the whole thing down. :?
Can Jericho and DX make up for it? Maybe. I'm not getting my hopes for anything.
And I agree about Christian. I'd prefer him winning MiTB to the Royal Rumble and then turning heel. He's great as a face or heel, but I wanna see him go bad again.
Also, I'm loving the progression of the Kofi/Orton rivalry. Can't wait to see further developments. :D
ECW EDIT
So Christian's facing Shelton Benjamin in a ladder match for the ECW title. It could be good. I like that they're planning to steal the show. It could happen. I guess.
And Regal and Russian face got betrayed by big Zeke. It was an "oh well" moment indeed.

Oh yeah, now ECW gets some spotlight. Christian vs Shelton, TLC PPV, in a Ladder Match? COOL. These two guys are just highlight reels on ladder matches, and we get to see them one-on-one? Pretty cool. I bet you'll see an Unprettier executed at the top of the ladder or a hurricanrana so high it's insane.
I also bet Shelton will win the title.
