Bryan is being described as a scapegoat by many. It should be noted that Heath Slater nearly did the same thing to John Cena with the ring ropes during the same angle on RAW last week. Randy Orton was also bashed with a door by Edge several weeks ago.

According to a source, WWE does want to bring him back to the roster once the whole thing blows over.


A Benoit rule? Why didn't management just say "no choking" or something? They tell them to go wild but they fire a guy for following vague orders.


No, I think I follow the logic here. See, WWE often makes its wrestlers improvise in terms of actions as long as they keep in mind a set of rules, as part of injecting more realism into their scripting. It'll be bad if they stuck tightly to a set script.

Apparently, the NXT rookies' orders are to wreak havoc and whip Cena's ass. And apparently as well, Danielson improvised with choking Roberts with the tie to make the angle look "believable", not knowing of WWE's trauma with choking since Benoit choked his family out. And in a come-and-go place like WWE, ignorance can spell your "future endeavours" as quickly as that.

For me and this Danielson thing, I still remember Matt Hardy a couple of years ago, about 2005. There's a window.

Letting them improvise is one thing, but not telling them about lines that shouldn't be crossed is another. Bryan Danielson could have been they're new Benoit or Angle if not better and I think kicking him out without warning is gonna cost them the greatest talent today.

One half of me would like to see hime back in WWE just so I would be able to see hime wrestle every week, but the Indy fan in me would like him to stay in the indies so his potential isn't held back.

EDIT: Pulling for a SmackDown chant as well, seeing as NXT and SmackDown are taped in the same night.

That's one side of the cube.

Although if this "Daniel Bryan" fan movement in shows continue, I expect them to re-hire the dude. You can't argue with the fans over who they want to cheer for (e.g. Rock vs Hogan, WM). And fan base means money, although I'd be sad if Danielson winds up in that indie promotion in Universal Orlando.

And Sheamus as the 2x "Dubya-Dubya-E Shampion"... man, if you got a shtick that really works (in Cena's words, "a human jar of mayonnaise") like Cena the rapper, Austin the redneck and Angle the smug Olympian, you really can get a major title run quick. In this case, Sheamus the I'm-whiter-than-your-average-Caucasian with a legit Irish accent.

Hey, it worked with Matt Hardy.

Next Raw is gonna be awesome because is taking place on Philadelphia. Since Philly is ROH's home, the Bryan chants could be off the chart that day.

Hopefully the fans don't disappoint us.
