World Heavyweight Title match

hard to believe they started with this match

Alberto Del Rio really impressed me with this match, the front drop kick through the ropes and taking that huge bump and the thud it made when he hit made me cringe and go ouch.

Edge pulled out alot of stuff he never really does in this match, specifically the flipping plancha he did over the top to land on Del Rio, I was like woah when he did that.

One thing that stood out to me is when Edge actually brought out his submission the Edgecution or whatever its called, I was like wow he hasn't used that in awhile.

Edges win comes to no surprise to me, after that counter to the cross arm breaker then the spear I knew it was over. though after the match had me worried a bit, christian with a pipe was a bad decision. I figured christian would have clocked edge setting up a world title match in the future.

Mysterio Vs. Rhodes

now Cody really impressed me in this match

the spring board kick to the head of mysterio was sick, though it felt like the flying chuck kick though.

now this is what really really made me go wow! the Stalling Superplex from the top rope, that was some impressive strength to do that.

I really thought Mysterio's costume was cool, all dressed up like captain America which was pretty cool since last year he dressed up in an Avatar costume as well.

Rhodes winning really surprised me you know after that diving head but I thought mysterio had it but with the knee brace to the face and then the cross rhodes it was a rap

the snoop dogg segment was particularly funny to me.

kind of like american idol, snoop obviously playing the role of simon. When zak ryder started singing Friday I said get the fuck out of here, then Roddy Roddy Piper came out and cracked him with a coconut I stood up and applauded.

another one was when Chris Masters and Yoshi Tatsu came on, Boom Boom Clap...let the pec dance commence then Yoshi actually singing made me bust out laughing.

I also laughed when Hornswaggle started busting a rhyme, maybe they should start having him talk more instead of this random grunting stuff he does.

8 Man Tag Match

Kane and Big Show coming out as a tag team, as long as they don't remix their songs its ok or if Kane goes back to using Slow Chemical.

Santino's music hits and I start doing the trumpet dance, then I watch as Santino epically speed walks to the ring!

so the announce team says that Kozlov got "attacked" by The Corre during the fan axess tour so Kozlov is out, So out comes Kofi Kingston. I understand why, in order to further the feud with Wade Barret for the IC Title.

So Ezekiel Jackson comes in and absolutely drops big show with a clothesline, thats like what 480-490lbs of man to take down...that's scary strength

for me this match was way to quick, they could at least have gotten a 450 splash out of Justin Gabriel.

I saw the replay of Kofi doing the crossbody from the apron to the floor, dude Kofi got some hops...he must of had them for breakfast.

I figure they would have put over The Corre in this match but hey you can't win them all

the rock segment with mae young, I had a feeling that she would show up for wrestlemania. I lol'd when she said she wanted the peoples strudle(or however its spelled).

When the rock ask could there be anyone else that could have walked around the corner...and Austin appears, that was epic. that stare down reminded me of that epic match back at Wrestlemania 17, simply amazing.

CM Punk Vs. Randy Orton

Is it just me or is punk a better heel with long blonde hair?

could we possibly get a comeback for the Orton Pose? I mean I miss that when he would just randomly throw that up for like no reason.

of course orton was "injured" during this match so I kinda expected to take away from the match, but it really didn't.

at one point in the match earlier on, orton turns around in the corner comes out and absolutely clotheslines punk to the canvas, that was a hell of a hit.

at another point punk and orton where outside and punk kicks the steel steps when he tried to ram punks head into them, thus making the steps hit orton's "injured" leg. that was a very smart move on punks half.

of course most of punks attacks centered around the "injury" to orton's leg. so that was predictable

Punk had Orton in the tree of woe(which must have killed his "injury"), Punk climbed to the top and dropped his knees into the chest of Orton. that was a brutal hit.

First RKO of the match and Punk manages to reverse it with a well placed kick to the face, that was pretty cool.

another point Orton manages to get punk up top for a superplex, that was very impressive even with the "injury".

something that I never expected of Orton, he pulls out the back suplex as they called it. but really it was an angle slam! I had the thought of MOVE THIEF.

of course punk goes for the Anaconda Vice during this match, which he should really use more often. its a heck of a submission to tie someone up like that.

Second RKO, Punk manages to pull away just in time to save his ass. also manages to slam Orton to the mat as well.

Punk goes for the classic spring board clothesline he always does and BOOM RKO out of nowhere and Orton gets the 3

I had punk in this match but I can see why they put orton over.

mean gene oakerland makes an appearance and has a bit of fun with the rock.

I laughed at the fact that Pee Wee Herman was John Cena's biggest fan.

oh and from now on "The Fruit Loop Troop" and "Yabba Dabba Nation" will be what I call Cena fans from now on.

Jerry Lawler Vs. Michael Cole

Booker T on the announcing team along with Good Ole J.R.! that was great to see and hear J.R. back on the mic

I seriously facepalmed when cole came out in a wrestling style suit...I called him a fag.

Austin comes down to the ring on his ATV and nearly runs over both Swagger and Cole, and I laughed and applauded because that is the Austin I remember. The beer swilling rattle snake.

I have a question for the wrestling fans in this thread, could you kick michael coles ass? because I know I could.

Jerry Lawler comes out and wow his new attire looks really cool, its looked like it was some futuristic king.

Of course Cole runs and hides in his "cole mine" like a little bitch

then comes Lawler kicking Coles ass all up in the "cole mine" and I applauded.

I'd really like to have J.R. and King on the announce team for raw and booker t and matt striker on smackdowns announce team. with cole nowhere to be found!

Cole ruled over alot of this match, even though he shouldn't have. it should have just been a red ass beatdown from King.

I clapped when I heard the "stompin a mudhole in him and walkin it dry" line.

it was eventual that swagger catches a stunner...it was laughable at his attempt to stop the match.

King starts destroying michael cole like he should have.

King delivers a very good drop kick, but not better than Orton's drop kick.

King drops the flying fist and goes for the pin but stops after 2

King puts cole in the Ankle lock and cole taps like a little bitch.

Booker gets in on the win and does a Spinarooni...damn it was good to see that again.

Unexpected stunner to booker t who clearly over sells it, which made the Lulz factor high.

but of course the anon GM ruins the moment by QQing about austin getting evolved, so he DQ's Lawler making cole the winner...so this story line should continue.

Undertaker Vs. Triple H

Triple H's entrance was fucking epic! For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica! that was so sick.

and taker has a normal entrance and it took him about 3 1/2 minutes to get to the ring...thats pretty fast, last year was like 4-4 1/2 minutes.

trying to go punch for punch with taker is a bad thing to do...he's really good at that.

Trips tackles Taker into the "cole mine" and absolutely destroys it, that was pretty cool.

Trips whipped Taker into the barricade and he slammed horizontal into the barricade, that had to hurt like a mother.

Trips goes for the pedigree early on on the announce table, but it gets reversed a Trips goes back first on the floor. thats not much padding on that floor, his back and ribs had to be killing him after that.

of course comes the Taker dive over the top and he crashes onto Trips.

at one point Trips catches Taker off guard and hits a botch spine buster through the spanish announce table, but hey trying to catch a guy of 300lbs and slam him through a table is no easy task.

a chair comes into play during the match, Taker uses it and Trips takes a hell of a shot from the chair. The echo was just a sick crack, so brutal.

then the match turns into the finisher fest.

Trips hits Trip pedigree's but Taker still some how gets up.

Trips smashes Taker with the chair multiple and just deforms said chair.

Taker takes multiple unprotected chair shots to the head, and thats some scary stuff.

Trips hits the Tombstone on Taker...but some how, some way Taker kicks out and gets up.

Trips goes for his sledgehammer but gets pulled into the hells gate and is forced to tap about a couple minutes after.

I'm surprised that Shawn Michaels did not make an appearance, figured either he would kick undertaker and have trips win or betray trips and have taker win.

so was the 19-0 really earned by Taker, of course I figured the match wouldn't be as good as the shawn michaels match. The match kinda felt slow, the sped up then came to a crashing finish.

so what was the actual damage done to Taker, because he looked really out of it after the match had ended. probably a really bad concussion.

Piss Break Match
nada worth mentioning in the opening moments, Jomo and Ziggles deserve better than this.

highlight of the match, Jomo hits a corkscrew plancha from the top rope on to Ziggles. that was pretty cool.

WWE Championship Match

last match of the night...and not the best

A Chorus sings for a part of john cena's entrance then a prayer starts up.

the voice to me sounded like DMX...which that was interesting to me.

Cena doesn't look like a fruity pebble any more with his red white and blue clothes on.

the bell got rang twice, the bell person must have been excited.

Cena over sold a hard whip in to the turn buckle, flopped onto his face then flopped up into a sitting position

Miz catches Cena in a side slam sort of move, though the last time that move was used it was called a side effect.

Miz goes for his running clothesline in the corner and misses, riccochets out of the corner and onto his ass.

Miz catches Cena with a hard DDT while Cena was on his knees.

Ref takes a bump.

Cena gets the Attitude Adjustment and Miz Flys into the air, normally when you get that high you get a little bag of peanuts.

Cena takes the classic football stance, he and the miz go crashing over the barricade. neither man gets up and a double count out happens.

Rock comes out, calls bullshit...gets interrupted by anon GM, restarts the match no holds barred, no time limit, no DQ. I laughed at Rock doing the email.

Miz escapes another Attitude Adjustment, Cena walks into a Rock Bottom which I totally called.

Miz gets the 1, 2, 3 and retains...after the match he gets his ass kicked by rock and catches a peoples elbow.

a very weak ending to mania as I expected the US title match to happen...
