You forgot about the feud that drags on way too long that people stop caring about it. (Ex. JBL vs Taker, 2004-05)Well, probably not, actually. Heidenreich screwed 'Taker twice... at No Mercy 2004 (Last Ride vs JBL) and at Armageddon 2004 (the fatal 4-way where Taker last had the chance to beat JBL), so rule 2 applies :)

Crap, I can't believe I forgot about Heidenreich. All I remember from him is raping the hell out of Michael Cole.
That's how forgettable JBL's reign was to me.

Goodman it, now I remember why I hate the WWE when it comes to booking Randy Orton. Even when Cena's injured and has been in two matches before facing him, they somehow manage to find a way to make him Cena's bitch again. Oh, yeah, we can't forget about Cena completely no-selling his injuries... again.
How the fuck? Why can't the E book Orton strong at least once? Why can't John Cena stop being Clark Kent?
Time to whip out the old poster:

I totally agree. WWE really needs to book Orton strong, and not just once. I know the purpose of a heel is to make the people love to see get his ass kicked, but he needs to be booked on a solid fight against a face or else it's pretty much a lousy one. Cena tends to end up making the fights against heels a lousy one.
But you have to look at Raw's thinly-spread roster. Trips and HBK are teaching the kids. Batista's on SD, and the heels outnumber the faces. Who else to fight Orton - Kofi? Primo? Hornswoggle? Nah. Vince got no choice but to use the same formula again.
I think Orton could win HIAC. I have a gut feeling they'd extend this feud up until Armageddon comes.

There's more credible people that can face Orton than Cena. Besides Orton, Big Show is the only credible heel on Raw and he's out of the championship picture right now because he's teaming with Jericho. Other than those two, there's no one else.
MVP could face Orton. Have Porter win a number #1 contenders match and let him have a title match at the next PPV. Orton could finally be the favorite in the match for once and MVP gets a great opportunity to be build up. They don't even have to stop the Cena/Orton feud if they want. They could do the same they're doing on ECW where Christian is facing new challengers but he's still feuding with Regal in the background.
I also would kill for an long HBK/Orton feud. That could be fun and it's something we haven't seen tmuch.
This is assuming Orton wins the belt on Sunday of course.

Well, to tell you the truth I also forgot MVP since he's currently a midcarder. Yep it's cool since MVP's a face and Orton's a heel. MVP also needs a bigtime boost and WWE is in dire need of young people to perk up and get on the title picture. So yeah, MVP can fit in although a little tweaking on his onscreen persona might be extra helpful for that.
And HBK/Orton... it could be good as well, like to open up an opportunity for Trips to turn heel. The last time HBK and Orton were in a title feud in SS07 it was quite entertaining. They could set up HBK winning the belt at some point since his last title reign was in 2002.

WWE Hell in a Cell Predictions:

Hell in a Cell is this Sunday and in my opinion, the card looks great. 6 title matches should make for a fun night. No ECW match kinda irks me a bit but three Hell in a Cell matches in one night more than make up for that.
Matches:
Singles Match: R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre

Another match? Why do I get the feeling thier gonna run out of time in this PPV? McIntyre wins because he's getting a push right now.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Hell in a Cell Match: D-Generation X vs. The Legacy

Legacy won the last one so it's somewhat obvious DX is taking this one. As long as Rhodes and DiBiase look good again, I really don't care who wins. I guess Shawn Michaels get the pin to make up for the tap out last time.
Winners: D-Generation X
Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Chris Jericho and The Big Show (c) vs. Batista and Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio gets a title match right away? Yeah, to hell with punishments! Anyways, Jericho and Show retain the title because this match was thrown together without any kind of buildup. That teem is way to good to lose in a throwaway match. I also predict Rey Rey eats the pin.
Winners: Jericho and Show
WWE Divas Championship Match: Mickie James (c) vs. Alicia Fox

Bathroom break match. Also, it's probably gonna suck complete ass. When the hell is the WWE gonna get Beth Phoenix back into the title picture?
Winner: Mickie James
WWE United States Championship Triple Threat Match: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. The Miz vs. Jack Swagger

Can we start calling Kofi "Mr. Multi Man" (yes, I'm too tired to think of something wittier) yet? Seriously, the poor guy keeps getting put into these triple threat and fatal fourway matches for some reason. I'm not even sure he's asking for them.
Anyways, I'm a big Miz fan (Yeah, I find it hard to believe it too) so I'm hoping he takes the title. Seriously, he's awesome. The match is probably gonna be a fast pace affair so I'm expecting some good stuff from these three especially if they give them at least 10 minutes.
Winner: The Miz
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: John Morrison (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Morrison wins. Seriously, there's no way he's losing the title so soon especially when this is his first title defense. Also, Mr. Ziggles pinning JoMo on SD is another sign there's not gonna be a IC change tomorrow. I just don't see Ziggler pinning Morrison two times in a row. The match is probably gonna be awesome and could be the MOTN if the appropriate time is given to both of them.
Winner: John Morrison
WWE Championship Hell in a Cell Match: John Cena (c) vs. Randy Orton

I really don't care about this feud anymore. Cena is up to his old tricks which means there's no way anyone is gonna pin him for the next few months. Orton is probably gonna dominate Cena the entire match until it's time for the Superman comeback and the unstoppable five moves of doom. Orton is also gonna tap like a little bitch right in the middle of the ring.
Winner: John Cena
World Heavyweight Championship Hell in a Cell Match: The Undertaker vs. CM Punk (c)

CM Punk retains the title after Taker get screwed again. I get the feeling someone is gonna interfere and completely destroy Taker which is gonna lead to a cheap pin for Punk. (oh no, why I am getting a sudden feeling of deva ju?)

I pretty much agree about all those except the US title match. Well, sort of. I'm not saying Miz won't win, there's just been too much back and forth between the three of them for me to confidently pick a winner.
And I don't think Orton will tap out just because I don't remember anyone ever tapping out in Hell in a Cell.

Tsk, where's Christian? At least I'd like to see some.
I agree with most of the predictions, except the US Title match. I predict Jack Swagger to win, and he's probably gonna end up on the next Raw spitting on the mike that he's the All-American "American" and the guy who's ex-billed as "from Jamaica" (last SD I heard he's billed now from Africa) shouldn't hold the US title. But I agree it's time for Kofi to lose the title.
I have a gut feeling that Alicia Fox could hold that Divas' Title in HIAC. When was the last time you saw a non-Caucasian Diva hold the title (excluding Gail Kim)? But it's like 30-70. My 70's on Mickie still.
Beth Phoenix + Diva's Championship... eww. I still am aghast over how WWE designed the Divas belt (it looks like a Bratz model belt), and putting that cheaply-designed title on Beth Phoenix who looks so sexily muscular could possibly tank and go pfft. But that's just my opinion.
Rule #2 ^_^ Who in SD/RAW/ECW can "completely" destroy 'Taker?
Batista? A wee bit possibly but I think nope, I think he's next in line to face BM Punk (accdg to The Rock).
Big Show? Possibly (to set up a JeriShow vs BoD).
Khali? Nope, out on injury.
Kozlov? Possibly, but he's involved with the Regal thing on ECW so he's out.
Kane? Possibly, since he's got no storyline, but I hope they've got a better storyline root here other than jealousy.
Mike Knox? Forget it.
Except defeating Undertaker at Wrestlemania LOL ^_^

Hm... seems we were a bit off. Undertaker WON, and the best irony is, Orton WON over Cena, in Hell in a Cell, and legally. Kofi retained the belt. The second-tier belts were retained.
I think probably WWE needs some more fuel in the rivalries in both Raw and SD, so they probably let Taker and Orton win. I also predict it won't be long before Cena invokes his rematch clause and rant his ass over winning "back" his spinner, the same with Punk. I guess they'd all settle this in WWE TLC pay-per-view after Bragging Rights.
At least Orton didn't tap out again; but I honestly hope he wards off Cena. If not, make it a Triple Threat. Or fourway. As long as Cena's not an odds-on favorite.
I predict Legacy will split by late November or by December. To allow Ted to turn face.

Poor Punk. Why the way he's booked, it's getting pretty hard to take his title reigns seriously. Hopefully Punk wins the title back because there's no way in hell I could stand another Batista/Undertaker feud.
Also, Randy Orton is a 6-time world champion now. Wow, I would never think he would have that many reign when this year started. Was there even a point to giving Cena the title for three weeks if he was gonna lose it in such a short time? He's quickie becoming Edge as far as titles go.
Why do I get the feeling they created that PPV just to advertise Smackdown vs. Raw 2010?
You forgot about Survivor Series. I don't blame you though. The last few have been pretty forgettable.

Yep, poor Punk, never had a very solid reign... well, the post-Hardy era he did very well in. Hopefully he gets booked on a good decent title reign, like he can defend it at WM25 against a solid opponent like Rey Mysterio.
Well, the Bragging Rights logo was a dud. SD on top and RAW on bottom, an d their sponsor is their own game. Oh well, money flows out where money goes in. I just hope we get at least some decent matches with less squashes and cheap pins.
I think they gave Cena the title for just a short notice. You can't always have Orton win it all, like 3 straight. WWE likes to stretch its feuds nowadays... but most of the time they spread it too thin and little flavor is left.
I didn't forget Survivor Series, dude ^_^ They don't finish most of the feuds in that PPV, most ends up finishing it in Armageddon. And since Armageddon's out... tsk. I like that PPV, like "the end of all things" theme. Now it's a cheap TLC-themed show. Hopefully I get to see some dude get busted open, there's been a shortage of blood nowadays. But yes, yes, the last few were quite forgettable.
But I've got a bad gut feeling John Cena will win the championship against Orton in TLC by December. Just my gut feeling, I hope I'm wrong.
Maybe also I have to face it: the era of wrestling-savvy women like Lita and Trish are over. From that era, only a handful remains in WWE (Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix and Mickie James), the rest are just pin-ups.

Raw was pretty good last night.
Miz won the US title. Don't know why he couldn't win at the PPV though. :?
Ben Roethlisberger was a good host.
We found out what Bragging Rights means. It's all the winners of the SmackDown matches take on the winners of the RAW matches in a tag team match. Pretty stupid gimmick if you ask me. And does that mean no ECW title match again? Christian deserves better than that.
Back to RAW. Dx vs Jeri-Show was good. And Show actually said "Jeri-Show." That was cool. I hate though that Jericho's always the fall guy for the team. It gets kind of old.
And there was the Diva Bowl. Pretty stupid. Just them doing finishers to each other and yada yada.
Chavo apparently is turning face now because he doesn't want to hurt the midget anymore? I don't get it. I just want them to put him in real matches again.
Mark Henry looked like he got legitimately hurt. Maybe MVP can go solo again and get worked into the title picture. But I doubt it.
And we got some good news which is actually equally bad news.
At Bragging Rights it's gonna be John Cena vs. Randy Orton in a 60 minute Iron Man match. That totally sucks. I don't want to see John Cena do his same five moves for an hour. Seriously, I think I'm gonna count how many diving shoulder blocks Cena throws. I'm currently taking bets.
But the good news is, if Cena loses he's off RAW. Which in itself is terrible news for SmackDown. But since I'm usually too busy to ever watch SmackDown, I'm kind of hoping they send Cena over there and then bring Punk over to RAW maybe. Or John Morrison. Or both.
Of course to put Punk in the title hunt on RAW they'd have to turn him or Orton face but Punk's to early of a heel to turn back, and face Orton probably won't work out so well. And by probably I mean almost definitely. Either way doesn't look very probable.

Yep, I was disappointed by this one too. The gimmick, I mean. You've got four, maybe six if god willing, tired and busted wrestlers doing a tag match to close the show? Oh noes. Bad gimmick, Vince. But I'll digress: if they did this one I might be interested:
RAW: DX (if they win the tag belts) and Orton (if he kicks Cena out)
vs
SD: Undertaker, Batista and Rey Mysterio
Miz won the US title, great. Now we'll see some variety on Raw. Come to think of it, WWE's doing a good job building Miz's singles career. John Morrison already is a capable singles competitor, and making Miz win the title is his stepping stone for more of singles exposure and shying him away from the tag-team stigma that afflicted a lot of former tag champions (e.g. Cade & Murdoch, La Resistance, etc). And Miz and Morrison now hold both the top second-tier title belts in WWE.
If Vince makes the mistake of AGAIN excluding ECW on the next PPV, expect a few disgruntled wrestlers up there. I hope they get a title match soon. I have an idea on how WWE could use that stip Orton used if Cena loses - this might be iffy and weird but if it goes good, all the better - Orton's gonna win that Ironman match and Cena's bye-bye to Raw and gets signed up at ECW to face Christian for the title, then Christian goes heel whatever the outcome, because ECW needs a big-time heel, big-time, and Christian is a nice heel. Come on, ECW's got no face-time stars save three (Dreamer, Christian and Regal), and add a huge star like Cena can give some ratings. Extreme Cena, anyone? LOL I can imagine Cena vs Christian at WM25 for the ECW title, then if Cena loses Vince can conveniently use the WWE draft to get him out of ECW. How's that for a stint?
I previously had the gut feeling Cena's going to win the belt back after Bragging Rights (probably SS or TLC, but more likely TLC), but since the stips are nice, I'll happily ditch that thought.
But of all good things, there's a bit of a doubt that Orton will win this match - John Cena's stip if he loses at Unforgiven 2007 against Edge is that he'll sign up on Smackdown if he loses the TLC match, and Cena won, so on Cena's history of Loser Leaves Raw, he's 1-0. And to think Cena's one big cash cow on Raw, it's going to be a hard decision on Vince to even think of removing him from Raw.
Yep, Cena and shoulder blocks... let's see... a few maybe, but since Orton demanded it to be no-DQ, I expect chairs and a few kendo sticks again. Make it a hardcore Ironman match with some Legacy included.
Punk to RAW is quite unlikely... I mean, Gewirtz and Hayes might warp some storylines to make a Cena-Punk swap. Punk's suited best for SD for the long-term since he's being built there like WWE did Edge to solidify heels. Cena best end up in ECW.
Chavo's being built as a goofy Latino, but unlike his uncle Eddie, he's a goofy Latino booked in god-awful matches. Eddie got better exposure than that. I'd like to see some good halftime matches from Chavo... say Chavo vs Carlito, or Chavo vs Bourne, pretty good. Or else dump Chavo back to ECW, at least since he's a former ECW champion he can get into decent programs.
Ben Roethlisberger was a good host, a lot better than, say, ZZ Top? LOL But anyway, I hope WWE books Eminem someday as a guest host before this guest host gimmick runs out its appeal.

And Miz and Morrison now hold both the top second-tier title belts in WWE.Miz = awesome. He has really worked his ass off this past few years. Both his mic and wrestling skills have improve tremendously. I can't believe this is that same guy who use to host Diva Searches and say "Hoorah" like a idiot.
I guess Miz and Morrison weren't kidding when they said they were the best tag team in the 21st century.
Now the WWE needs to give us a US champion vs IC champion somewhere down the line. Hell, I'm pulling for a Team Miz vs. Team Morrison match at Survivor Series.
We should have gotten Cena/Christian a long time ago if the WWE writers weren't a bunch of idiots. Remember in 2005 when Christian was really over and had a rivalry with poser Cena? Man, talk about wasted opportunities. We never got a conclusion to that.
Also, I'm excited for the Ironman match. Unlike a lot of people, I don't find Cena/Orton matches bad. It's just the feud and story that needs some improving.

Curious and Wondering

Spoiler:
Yep, I find it hard to believe as well (regarding Miz), but since WWE's building new "enduring" stars, I think Miz and Morrison are on their way. Guess the Tough Enough contest somehow paid off. None of these two won the contest, but they won the career they wanted in the end. They're the Daughtrys of the WWE.
On thinking, Team Miz vs Team Morrison, how's that gonna be (for this year only)? They're stars - but traditionally the namesake of the team is the captain of the team. None of these two are at the top-tier level yet to be leading a pack of wrestlers. I mean, can you imagine anyone on Raw today willing to be second fiddle to Miz? I hope they do this match too.. but not this year. Not yet. But WWE can surprise me - bring it on.
On Cena-Orton, yep, it's a good rivalry, but how they engage in the feud is simply... predictable. It's simlar to the pattern of playing uni-tennis teams.
They're good athletes and tough people - Cena's an ex-football star and Orton was in the Marines - and WWE did an awesome job on polar ends, Cena's a solid fan favorite since 2003 and Orton's evolved from 2003, from sexy young stud in Evolution to a egotistical Legend Killer to a unstable wrestling psychopath. But how do they engage in good solid feuds that only has a 3-week rebuild-and-pickup?
