Your Ideal in an Anime Character

Basically select a character from an Anime who best describes the ideal person that you want to be. Whether it's a realistic ideal or not, you look at this person and aspire to be something like them.

For me, it's Lehm from Jormungand. A man whose grown relatively well for the amount of action he's seen. Has an outstanding and ongoing track record as well as having been married to a bad ass operator. And despite the sort of fubar situations he most likely have been in, he still keeps a smile on his face.

Well since you already stole the original pick I would go for I choose Dutch from Black Lagoon. While I never really had a desire to lead people he has proven to be an able leader.
He keeps the balancing with his fellows between more ruthless criminals than you probably ever saw while being cool and collected and even manages one of the most psycho people I ever saw... Revy.
He knows when to play things cool, when to lay low and when to go kick some ass while keeping his calm most of the time. Not to mention he's quite an avid reader and philosopher.

The character who i would want to aspire to..... Hmmmm. Thats a tough question. Part of me wants to say Jacuzzi Splot, from Baccanno, but i also want to say Shun Kazama, the male lead from From Up on Poppy Hill, because he is already a lot like i see myself now, only better.

Jeez, this is a tough one. Ideally, I would combine aspects from other characters to mold the ideal character, but if I had to choose one, it would be possibly a near-impossible choice between Lelouch from Code Geass and, pretty much any OP righteous character, be it Natsu from Fairy Tail or Luffy from One Piece. I like people who continue to surprise, be it with power or intellect. Just how I work i guess :D

She is so strong willed, spunky and caring that she is at the top of my list as an ideal anime character for myself.


Ferris Eris - The Legend of Legendary Heroes

Another strong willed character (also physically strong as crap). She is loyal and dedicated, as well as conident. She's also cute when she want's her danko lol.


Holo - Spice and Wolf

Wise and has a way with words as well as being adorable at the same time. She is a very loveable character and loves to get what she wants (^w^)


Asuna Yuuki - Sword Art Online

Beautiful, strong, talanted (espically in cooking which I love to do as well) and caring. She is such a wonderful character and I couldn't help but admire her.


Sumiko - The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior

I also chose Sumiko because she is someone I would idealy wish to be when I am much older lol. I love her personality and she is such a loving and witty grandmother-esque character.

I'd say either Shu Ouma from Guilty Crown or Lelouch from Code Geass. Primarily because of how they aren't the perfect hero, they both have their faults that become very apparent in their respective series and are prone to failing. They also display the best and worse humanity has to offer as they are determined, kind to their friends and stand up for what they believe is right even though it may not come across in a typical protagonist way since they can also be merciless and cold to others. Although I'd edge slightly closer to saying Lelouch is more my kind of character because of his intelligence and forethought that he puts on display during the course of Code Geass where as Shu can be winy and naive about the world at times.

Erza Scarlet - Fairy Tail

Strong, beautiful, independent and caring~ She is the queen of my heart and I admire her a lot. Her strong will and sense of responsibility.

Morgiana - Magi

Sweet, Cute yet strong and powerful. Trustworthy and just pure adorableness. I love her ok?

Botan - Donten ni Waru

beautiful beautiful and more beautiful. Her ability to draw people close to her and make people like her. Her elegant and very kind personality~

Celty Sturluson - Durarara

Her Kindness and caring character. The mature and very feminine yet strong and independent. I love her voice and her calm composure.

I would like to pick Naruto, i know people dont really like Naruto much anymore, but i relate to him. I had a hard childhood and acted out to get attention. I want people to respect me and see me for who I am. Or I would say Natsu from Fairy Tail, being strong and always there to help your friends no matter what. Protecting people who are close to me is one of the most important things in my eyes, and i will protect them even if it hurts me.

As for me its probably either Yutaka Hasebe from Servant x service or Shougo Kiryu from isshuukan friends. Just like them I prefer a lazy laid back lifestyle while still being skilled/knowledgeable about a lot of things (in my case mostly stuff from the net) and be able to give good advice/encouragement to other people. The only problem is that my parents or should I say my mom wants me to live a life thats centered on a stressful working till you die(which is her philosophy in life) and earning mountains of money ( my dad shares my view so he's pretty cool) even though my current job is pretty easy and that I'm not the type who spends a lot in the first place (hell half of my salary goes to paying their bank debts yet I'm still content with my life). I just want to be able to enjoy what I have

Damn when my first two choices were the first two taken. Well I still aspire to them but for the sake of giving something new, another anime character I aspire to would be Kamijou Touma from To Aru Majustu no Index.

A person with almost no ability, he's managed to survive in his world as if he was graced by some powerful force. That's something I feel I can relate to.

What I find aspiring about him is that no matter what misfortune strikes him or how many times he's thrown down, he'll get up and keep moving forward with strong determination. Also that he's not afraid to punch a girl, that sensitivity and double standard in society is not something I can agree with.

Travels around curing people from disease-causing-creatures that are almost the essence of life itself.

For me it's Shanks from One Piece and Judeau from Berserk. Both are actually rather similar except Shanks is considered a great man and possesses great God like power and Judeau is considered just an "average" man.

Both of them are pretty chill cool headed people who people can confide in and feel comfortable being around. Both care deeply for other people and would sacrifice themselves to save someone they care about. While both are fighters they can and prefer to relax and spend time with the people they care about and have fun. Both are content and happy with their current positions. Both have good morals and are brave people.
