Give your opinion on which is better
EDIT: I decided to vote on BF3 because of the destructibility and the team work call of duty never had.. now you decide what you think is better..

I'm watching both of them.
Honestly though, I've only ever played the Bad Company series of Battlefield so I can't admit to caring about Battlefield 3 like so many people seem to hold such high hopes for it. Similarly, it actually leaves me a little disinclined because so many raging PC elitists think Battlefield is God's gift to the universe and once Bad Company series came out and no longer were all of the "decent" Battlefield games exclusive to the PC, suddenly so many elitists acted like the series was conveniently ruined by the Bad Company series. Puh-lease.

lol as I mentioned play both,it does not mean get both yourself. Can always get a friend to get the other game see for yourself which one you find better or so.If its anything with games,is to play the game yourself and then form an opinion.

I'm looking to Battlefield 3. Bad Company was great, but it was indeed worse than Battlefield 2 simply in that it was much more condensed. I didn't like the absence of a spec ops class, giving C-4 to snipers, ammo to assault, LMGs to medic, and silenced SMGs to Engineers. There should be more classes to provide more diversity (a la BF2) and I'm just happy that the series is being opened up again. Then again I'm a player that values doing the job of a given class over chasing kills.
As far as MW3 goes, I know I'm going to get it to play with the few close friends that refuse to play Battlefield. It'll still have the magic perks, still have arbitrary gun damage (AUG HBAR shoots 5.56 and does higher damage than the 7.62 M240), and still have the worst gaming community I've ever seen next to Halo.

Battlefield... Hands down.
battlefield has been improving (although they did make it pretty simple in the Bad Company series >_< Still fun to play though) from most of there games, and they've had some completely destuctable areas, i know on most multiplayer games, i've seen areas flattened ^__^
Call Of Duty though... even since Modern Warfare came out (first was alright, but i don't find the popularity of it a plus) i don't feel the've been changing much, just what weapons i can use, and maps. for me it feels like they could of used the #1 Top Selling PS3 Game's money to better use... and i lost alot of confidance when most of the crew left before Black Ops. and it showed.

I vote for EA.I'v seen a friend play and it looks so much better with all of the vehicles and such.Unlike COD which uses the same recycled engine over and over.

Modern Warfare 3 will have destructible environments this time, a lot of people seem to not know that. Anyway I voted for Battlefield 3, I just love the direction that series goes a lot more than the Call of Duty series goes in terms of gameplay.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
BF3, by far.
More players per game, vehicles, prone mode, more realistic explosions and bullet trajectory. (Bullet drop and so on.) And a slightly smaller number of whinny teenagers, but not by much.
Not even a competition.

Battlefield 3, It's just so much more enjoyable when you kill someone. It feels like you actually accomplished something especially when sniping, where as in call of duty it's ''oh cool i killed someone now wheres the next guy i can noobtube''.
Iv played every game in both series and i have logged more hours in call of duty but that's only because my friends refuse to play battlefield since they suck at it, which i think is the reason a lot of people say they don't like BF games it's because they suck at them but wont to admit it.
I won't be buying call of duty since i know a friend of mine will be getting it so ill just play his copy for the campaign mode since that's all i really enjoy about those games now. Also have you seen someone play call of duty it's a mystery how anyone finds it enjoyable with all the yelling and swearing that goes on. ''The game is cheating, this guy is cheating, how the hell did he kill me''.
Although i will admit i did love CoD2 it was by far the best in the series and i spent so much time playing that game. Seems like I'm focusing more on what i don't like about CoD than what i like about battlefield but what ever this rant has gone on long enough.
TLDR: battlefield>CoD

How can you people choose CoD4 over Battlefield 3? I mean seriously, even camping takes skill in BF unlike CoD ,where you can just put a claymore *which i jut call ~Stop Sign~* to watch your back and sit in 1 tiny room for the whole match.
