Unless cod takes some drastic changes I'm done with it. I'm considering bfbc2 Only thing to watch with BF2 is the maps are huge. It's the only... Well, I won't call it problem since I love BF2... But sometimes the trip to combat can be dull and slow going. On the up side for that I did enjoy sniping in BF2 because I could get into a position, mark targets for my squad, and pick off people. Which brings me up to another pro of BF2 over CoD is that teamwork pays off more.
I'm hoping that Battlefield 3 will be like BF2 with smaller maps and of course destructible environments are always a fun way to discourage campers at every turn. Getting MW3 as I really hope it wraps up the storyline and just watching Battlefield 3 in hopes it turns out they way I'd like it too.

It was tough. But my first ps3 game was Battlefield Bad Company 2, and I loved every aspect of it. I would also like to vote mw3 but I'm more of a Battlefield fan. I cant say which is better since all we have for proof are the trailers. But in my opinion i find battlefield better than modern warfare.

I think from my overall time spent playing the two series I'd go for BF3 cause I've always enjoyed the games except the futuristic one. and the 64 online is a big plus also.

always been a bigger fan of BF in cod you can solo everything, your whole team cansuck balls and you can stillwin the atch if ONE player is good, not in BF its a given that you have to use teamwork to win, if not. your fucked.

You get to fly jets in Battlefield 3. All I'm gonna say...yep just like BF2(*expecting base rapers)
I'm half sure that that might get balanced out by the n00bs that race for the planes first, just so that they can crash it into the nearest building/mountain/etc. Just like Battlefield 1943 on XBLA. At any rate, I don't think it can get nearly as bad as the apaches did from Bad Company 2.

Based on what Ive seen for both games, im going to have to pick MW3 because I see some of my favorite guns returning, and I know what to expect, But my opinion could change at any time because Modern Warfare has its share of bullshit, either way ill be getting both games, I just hope that the multiplayer for BF3 consists of more than just running 2 miles just to get sniped then repeating the process, I expect them to both be good though.

To pick off the enemy snipers so that my team can actually get to the fight. Though, it's almost comical when an enemy sniper tries to hit me at long range with the VSS, hitting only the air around me, while I take my time to line up a single headshot from my M24. Also, it's sometimes a good idea to spawn on your squadmates. If they're still alive, that is.

When it comes to gameplay mechancics, BF wins, but I love being able to see killcams and respawn faster so I can get back to playing the game, So COD is better in that respect, I also dont really like the whole, "buy your upgrades" system. In Black Ops im a prestige 2 level 70, I have over 300,000 COD points, and still have not contracts for getting 2 kills because I had to buy them, I just really didnt see a point to prestiging.

Call of duty sucks. Activision wants to milk gamer for the Benjamin's. 15$ for map packs? Get the fuck outta here. I don't see how people can enjoy playing this game which uses the same recycled engine over and over. Honestly all the COD games play the same way.

MW3 will sell better absolutely guaranteed because its 'for the kool kidz' but I definately think i'll prefer Battlefield 3. (Yes ive pre-ordered it)
Aint it pretty!? :D
After Black Ops I was just so tired and done with Call of Duty... The only thing it had going for it was Zombies!! (Now thats all that needs to be said) >____>

I haven't played either yet so I'm just going on the other games of the series.I like the multiplayer in the Battlefield series better. Larger teams, larger maps, destructable enviroments. Plus I hear BF3 is going to have a singleplayer campaign which I hope will be good. Modern Warfare multiplayer was alright but it didn't hold my attention for long. It was just people running at each other and getting killed every 10 seconds. Plus the story in the singleplayer campaign in the Modern Warfare series was always too unrealistic for me to get into. Personally if I had to only get one I would go for Battlefield 3.

Oh not this shit again...
They're both (although first person shooters) different games one focuses on team and objective play while the other is arcade run & gun.

It my be a few months old but there's always those "Is CoD better than BF" threads that keep getting made.
If you were comparing CoD with a similar arcade shooter then yes you can draw comparisons but the two franchises are different in what they focus on although both are FPSs.
