i apologize for the extremely delayed reply, as i didn't notice there was a response, but the reason i say that the uploader was supposed to state that the vn was not in english was due to
"-PLEASE add this sentence at the top of the post if it's not english
-This game is not translated-
or just tag it with [ENG] besides the title if it's english"

that was posted in the "readme" section. of course as you said should one be more attentive to the cues and do a little search one would be able to find out oneself whether the vn was translated, but as stated, it's not his fault for asking.

it's just a request/guideline to dumb things down for the users. you don't exactly see girlcelly get permabanned/warning/whatever for not writing "this is not translated". look at james99 too, the same with him. not exactly the "duty/obligation" level

its true, though: its not the person's fault for asking. i was just deterring those simple questions users can find out for themselves (the action which incidentally, takes less time than waiting for a reply on the forums)

It's kind of a rite of passage here at Fakku: you ask if a game is translated, get a response back (sometimes scathing, sometimes not), and realize how dumb you are not to notice it on half of the posts already up. I did it back in the day too, for Happiness. You just never do it again, unless you already know it's not translated and merely have a bone to pick.

So... has anybody played the game? Or are we simply going to quibble about five words at the top of the post?

You dare try to stop our petty quibbling!! How impudent!! Unfortunately i can't actually read Japanese so i have no idea what any of the story is about... but the art's nice? I really don't think i can really say much more than that but thats why i downloaded it.
